Oregon lucky to get by Rhode Island today.  Rhode Island caught fire at the end of the second half making 9 straight shots.  Huge threes by Dorsey ar the end, Brooks was not on his game today.  If they play like that against Michigan next week they lose.  Uncharacteristically horrible with turnovers today.

My expectations changed when Boucher got hurt, but they have a real chance to get to the Final Four.  Before the injury,  I thought they had a real chance to win it all.  They will need some breaks now.

Agreed.  His whining in the first half though almost gave them the win.  That technical foul on Brooks(it was a good call) was a game changer, not only did it give Brooks his 2nd foul and he had to go to the bench but it changed the momentum and was a 16 point swing to RI to end the half.

It's not just the wife.  Marshall himself is too tightly would to run a major program.  He wouldn't be able to handle the daily scrutiny and would have difficulty landing top 100 recruits.  
He's at a perfect spot.  Mid-major with some money behind it, unusual arena with a huge home-court advantage, access to top jucos and a known safe haven for miscreant transfers.  He's paid very well for a mid-major and is in a sweet spot where moving up to a Big XII or SEC program would mean 30-40% more money with 300-400% more headaches.

I don't really have anything against Duke but like that little cheap push by Kennard after he was fouled is what they've been doing for 30 years now.  That makes them pretty hard to like.
