*Official 2017 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Parade of Champions Down Broad Street! (1 Viewer)

2 QB's, 5 RB's.  Wonder how many times that's happened in the NFL :P
Surprised we didn't keep more oline.  Only 8.  Would rather have more of them than the 5 rbs

We are only carrying 3 tackles?  Peters can't get through one game healthy.

Interesting About treggs vs Gibson.  Guess they figured everyone knows who treggs is around the league, so more people might be interested in taking a flyer on Gibson.

Big boy works for the team (or at least at the stadium, I can't remember).
I met a guy at the draft who worked at the Linc. When Laurie came down before the draft to thank the fans that first day he saw the guy and had a quick 2 minute chat with him. It was pretty cool. I doubt it was big because my understanding is Big is older then me

Does anyone know what Mike Lombardi's beef with the Eagles is? Huge hot take on Pederson being the most unqualified coach he ever saw etc. Did someone in the Eagles Org forget to give him a handy or something?

Some people got an account to grind but I think this piece is aimed at the Pederson haters to give them fuel for their fire.

I was thinking maybe he's still butthurt about the team firing him yrs ago. I know Riddick on ESPN Has an axe to grind with us and makes it well known on there overtime he can

I found his comments to be a little odd actually.  The least most qualified HC?  Over Andy even?  Just strange that a former GM would say that given the history of the league and some other HC's around the league.  I'd like to believe Doug was more qualified than a Jim Zorn too lol

Wasn't John harbaugh only a special teams coord?

I can see someone saying well he doesn't have a great resume because he was never a HC at least at College level at some point and only and OC for such and such and just started calling plays right before going to the Eagles. But there's worse resume's in the league. Even if he doesn't have the coaching experience he played in the NFL for 15 yrs. A lot of these back up became really good coaches in one way or another. I remember last year or the year before I believe NFL teams were asking Josh McCown if he wanted to sign with them as a coach. Josh apparently is really smart and knows the game well. Never materialized talent wise but teams were going after him as a coach.

Yep and Mike Tomlin was only a DC for a season in Minnesota before getting a HC'ing job

I can only assume he meant in terms of length of time he coached the sport?  I really don't know.  Even if someone was a Doug hater I don't know that they would question his resume.

I've seen people question it. Someone mentioned how being a former player with 15 yrs helps in the locker room and player culture and some idiots said what does that have to do with anything he stunk

So how are we feeling about Sunday?

It's gonna be close.  Cousins seems to have our number.  I find it hard to believe their offense is as bad as it had looked in preseason.  I see a tight high scoring game

I mean was he really worse than Tomsula?
Tomsula and Kelly were in their own little category of that. I really don't get the Pederson hate other then the fact he's associated with Andy who we all know a section of this fanbase still hates and probably still would of if he had won a title. You know the ones who'd say oh we won in spite of him etc.

Sounded to me like Rob McElhenney, "Mac" from Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He's from the area and The Linc is always in the opening credits to the show.
It twas indeed the Mac Attack.  I heard he downed a gallon of Fight Milk before cutting this promo.

What I don't get about these morons calling in this week is how they continuously site Pederson terrible press conferences as reason that he's an idiot and a terrible coach. Hello!? Did we not just have a coach before that who was a master at press conferences and sounded like the smartest man on the planet? He turned out to be an awful coach. Then there was the guy before him who only ever said he had to do a better job at putting them in better positions.

Seriously we need a win this week to shut these idiots up. Of course they'll be the first ones shouting Super bowl if we start 3-0 again though.

Again, stay away from Philly Sports Talk radio.  It's very bad for your mental health how much stupidity you hear from the WIP mouth-breathers.

The Audible, The Late Round Podcast, CBS Fantasy Football, and the Fantasy Footballers.

Also the Nerdist podcast if you weren't athletically gifted growing up.
I also like the Ross Tucker Football Podcast and Locked On NFL with Matt Williamson.  RTFP is good because I like the perspective of a former player, plus he has Greg Cosell on weekly which I like - and Andrew Brandt has interesting perspective weekly as a former agent and Packer VP.  Matt Williamson is a former scout so you get that perspective of evaluating players and you can tell he really still watches game tape with that eye.

How would you rank the four you listed?  Or do they have different slants to each one?

You got to remember some of those same people also want that said coach and even defended why he shouldn't have been fired.
