*Official 2018 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Tough way to go out. Magic finally gone. (1 Viewer)

Anyone catch the crowd at the sixers game last night doing a fultz skol chant? It was classic.  Almost feel bad for these Viking fans
I think it's cool when the Eagles and fans do this but when other teams do it, just seems desperate. I don't maybe it's me and not liking the 76ers but I feel it's a team who's having success itself trying to piggy back off the Eagles success so they don't fade while people get off their SB. I don't know. Maybe it's more of it was Football not basketball or Baseball.

what's funny, is all this griping by the Vikings fans (and yes i am sure some is justified) really makes me appreciate Giants and Cowboys fans a bunch more. Never thought i would say that, and i wasn't at the NFCCG, but i am confident that worse has occurred to Cowboys fans over the years. This would be a great opportunity for Cowboys or Giants fans to jump in, and they have pretty much shrugged their shoulders too

ETA: and yeah to your bolded. the one popular video floated around of the Vikings fans getting yelled at as they walked to the stadium was exactly that. it is all hear say of course, but i heard from a few sources that the girl in that video was basically infuriating the Eagles fan base, and as soon as they got all pissed and reacted perfectly to her she started taking video
Cowboys and Giants fans have more balls then these Viking fans. They are use to the GB crowds not a crowd and fanbase who will fight back and give it to them worse. My One department manager is a Giants fan who goes to the Eagles Giants games all the time. He basically called the Viking fans a bunch of ####### because he's seen worse happen to Giants and Cowboys fans. Hell I remember Giants games back in the vet (Somehow at a young age my Pop-Pop let me go to Giants games but not the Cowboys. Go figure that one out) where huge brawls at the 700 level started and came down to the 500 level. Two guys fought each other from the 700 level to my sec 512 the Corner EZ where the NFL LOGO SHEILD was back in the day. Everyone was impressed with their stamina and the fact security couldn't stop them before that. Both dudes received a standing O from everyone for it too. What happened to Viking fans I think was pretty tame compared to what I use to see at the Eagles Giants games. I haven't been to one at the Linc yet so I can't comment on that.

Yeah I heard similar. There was a lot of Viking fans instigating the behavior as well. One of my buddies is a cop in my town and has a former Co worker who works PPD now. He told me thats the story he got from his buddy at the PPD and why the cops really didn't do anything to stop the people from chucking beer cans at her. It was more they weren't gonna help someone who instigated the problem and only if peoples lives got in danger were they gonna step in and break it up. The video inside the stadium I believe someone titled it Eagles fans spit on Vikings fan as they are escorted out of stadium the women instigated that. I have friends who sit about 2 sections from that and from what they heard the women instigated the whole thing. The guy who was with her (no one knew if it was a BF/Husband/Friend/Sibling/etc) kept profusely apologizing to all the Eagles fans for her behavior Apparently the people sitting next to the dude asked him if he was gonna go leave and game and bail her out. He told them nah I paid too much money and waited a long time for this game. I'm just gonna let the ##### sit there for the night till she sobers up and deal with her in the morning. She also spit on Fans as she was leaving which is why some of the people reacted to her the way they did.

Eagles have started scheduling times for Season Ticket Members to get pictures with the Lombardi trophy over the next couple of weeks

A bit off topic but I know my guys would know in here the answer. So today I found out the Phillies board I post at that is handled by MLB.com was disbanded today without warning. Kind of bummed they did that without giving us warning. Anyway My board has a fantasy Keeper league football wise that I love and I won the league the year before last year and ended up 2nd pick this year do to injuries and under performers. Anyway I was wondering if this forum does any Dynasty or Keeper Football leagues or have any news leagues of either starting up before every season? I'd be way more interested in a dynasty league that's just starting but wouldn't mind taking a team for someone who didn't come back. I'm mostly looking for free leagues though as I do fantasy for fun. I'm just afraid with my board being gone the league will maybe not disband this year but with in the next 2 or so yrs. I really liked the league as I actually came up with the idea for it. I'm just bad at making leagues and didn't want the GM duties so another poster took that over. I figured now with the board gone I'd ask

At number 32 who knows who will be there
All I know is I don't want that ND tackle who people seem to project us as. Seems like a big project and another in the long list of overhyped ND prospects. I'd rather take a TE like Andrews/Goeddert or one of the Backs like Guice/Chubb/Micheal or a LB if they fall. If not trade back and acquire more picks

Hes pretty terrible...right?
He was a nice option to have at the very least for the price he was at. He was able to if needed fill in both Safety spots and CB if needed and he was a fairly good ST player. He's the one I believe who threw Barner out of the way on the punt in one of the games this year that everyone was talking about as a Heads up play by him. He's also Sammy Watkins step brother. Kind of ironic that Sammy leaves LA (Albeit not the same team) and then Jaylen goes to LA in the same off season. Hate to say this as a Florida guy but we could've upgraded from him anyway. However it makes us really need to address the Safety positions outside of McLeod and Jenkins

Dam Not sure what this says about Cooks

@AdamSchefter

Patriots are trading WR Brandin Cooks and a fourth-round pick to LA Rams for the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft and a sixth-round pick, league sources told ESPN.

Kind of makes me laugh a bit but our writers have NOTHING ago write about this off-season lol. The content is just so bad from everyone.
WHat's really there to talk about? I mean it looks more and more likely Foles is kept unless some draft day trade takes place. Kendricks trade rumors have been talked forever. We either upgraded or filled out our offseason needs as well some house cleaning moves most saw coming if you follow the team closely. We got the last pick in the 1st round with very few wholes to fill and it's anyones guess who we may draft. We got to upgrade or add depth at a few positions most see us doing during the draft anyway. Really we are at a stale point in our offseason.

So question would you guys be ok or want the Eagles to Sign recently released Oak punter Marquiz King? Dude seems like a nice high character guy Howie and Doug look for and he seemed well liked in Oak. He was cut do to cap reasons and last year and the year before he was just as good or better than Donnie Jones in some important punting categories. He's also incredible athletic so the knowing Big Balls Doug he might find a few wrinkle plays on Punts and stuff to use the guy on.

:lmao:  Short answer- no.

If he wants to be a bottom 5 paid punter I’ll take him. If not let that flake go somewhere else. Last thing this city will want is a punter who thinks he’s a football player.

The new catch rule looks legit.

I think it will add a lot more excitement.

WR's catch ball and ground knocks lose without being touched is a fumble now.
UNtil it happens in the end zone, on first down, and goes OOB :tinfoilhat:

I like this trade for both teams.  Can't fault the Pats for getting a better pick than they gave up for him.

As an Eagles fan, I don't like it. The Rams sure look like they're loading up to come after us.  I think Cooks has a ton left in the tank and actually will be better with a qb like Goff who can throw the ball deep unlike Brady does much anymore.  Guy returns home to California and the rams just have a "2017 Eagles" feel to that roster to me.  Gonna be a fun battle with them.

looking a bit at it now. These are young kids you are dealing, absolutely, under no circumstances, can anything you get encourage the Cowboys or be pro-Dallas. the young need to understand that this is innate in the blood of any Eagles fan, and is not a choice.

I would probably crack a joke pre-season like "well guys, we are the Cowboys this year so everyone get ready to be a terrible team, that is lucky to get to 8-8"

Lol

What they really need to understand is the cowboys like to be 8-8.  They need that 8-8. They also talk and act like they are the best team in the league regardless of record. This is the cowboys way

Not sure I really like for the rams. I think they gave up too much and Cooks/Watkins are similar players. I don't like it do to the offense they run though. Plus I remember hearing that Cooks was more concerned about his numbers while in NO then winning. He also played like an idiot in SB and it's why Jenkins put him to sleep. Tried to make the flashy play rather then go down. For a WR who might've had the most talent since he had Randy Moss he didn't do that well. 700 yrs and what was it 7 TD? nice numbers but I'd have expected more from a guy with Tom Brady. Don't get me wrong I like the Rams and they might be one of my favorite teams in the NFL not named the Eagles I'd root for if the Eagles weren't in the playoffs. I just think they gave away too much and I think they were better off keeping Watkins. Plus Cooks is in the last year of his rookie deal anyway. It's a heck of a trade for NE standpoint. Maybe they go after OBJ or draft a guy I don't know but it gives them a lot of options. Maybe they use it to sore up protecting for Cement feet Tom.

1.  Cooks has been training with Goff this offseason.  I think his chemistry with him, and Goff's ability to throw deep will be a plus over Brady.
2.  Most people are forgetting that the Rams are getting a 4th back in this deal too.  4ths aren't huge, but it does add some value.
3.  Tom can't/doesn't throw deep much anymore.  Cooks needs a guy who can hit him downfield in speed.
4.  Cooks expected to sign extension in LA.

I for one am not surprised at all by the moves of the Rams and Vikings.

NFC is clearly ahead of the AFC.

This is great year for NFC teams to go all-in.

Eagles, Vikings, Rams and Saints are my picks for division winners.

Wildcard will be a dog fight with many teams but my picks are 49ers and Falcons.

Any one of the division winners could and should win the Super Bowl if they make it.

Patriots, Steelers are the only threats again this year in the AFC.

Houston and KC round out the division winners.

If Watson stays healthy Houston will be a legit contender.

Wildcards - Colts and Raiders.

I thought the Jags would be a contender but they let their WR's and TE walk.

Seriously, how do you screw up a team that was 1 play away from the Super Bowl.

I think gb and car make it playoffs

They only let Allen Robinson (who missed the whole season) and Allen Hurns (who didn't play much) walk. They did sign Donte Moncrief who is at least as good as Hurns. I think they upgraded at TE from Mercedes Lewis to Austin Sefarin-Jenkins.

With their defense and Fournette, I think they should compete again. Depending on Blake Bortles is a little scary though.

Yeah I would wager bortles never plays as well again and holds them back more often than not

It doesn't mean much, but this isn't true. Cooks, McVay and Snead all had a laugh when it was asked about at the press conference.(Starts around 5:00)
McVay "It's a good story, but it never happened." (it is true they've met due to having the same agent.)
