Second one not a foul imo as he clearly won the ball. First should have been whistled.Another foul not called. Wtf.
General rule is then if the ball is touched first anything essentially goes?Second one not a foul imo as he clearly won the ball. First should have been whistled.
I think if the player goes for the ball, plays the ball and the other guy falls over his extended foot, tough breakGeneral rule is then if the ball is touched first anything essentially goes?
Eh...kind of. Ref's interpretation will always matter, but in a safe not from behind tackle...if the ball is won first it's not usually a foul.General rule is then if the ball is touched first anything essentially goes?
Probably should be more. And the amount down to the second.6 minutes, huh?
Now we're at the point in the match where the winning team milks every thing possible to try to take time off the clock. THIS is the stuff that is bad for the game of soccer.
No it isn't.same as an American football team going to straight dives up the middle to run the clock out.
Terrible analogy. There is a play clock and they’re playing well within the spirit of the rules in doing so.same as an American football team going to straight dives up the middle to run the clock out.
Its awful, agree. Basketball has fouls to regain possession, football has runs/timeouts, and soccer has time wasting. They all suck in their own awful way.Now we're at the point in the match where the winning team milks every thing possible to try to take time off the clock. THIS is the stuff that is bad for the game of soccer.
I agree with this. If you get a yellow card for time-wasting, another full minute should be added to the stoppage time IMO. You fake an injury, 3 more minutes to the official stoppage time. That #### would stop real fast.No it isn't.
NFL players used to milk injuries too at the end of games either to milk clock or try to get a clock stoppage. So the NFL stepped in and changed the rules.
FIFA would do well to do something to stop that ridiculousness as well.
The better team won, but the sport really would be better without the diving and milking injuries.
There is a penalty system in place for his actions. He weighed the risk reward and took a yellow card. You've never seen an intentional delay of game?Terrible analogy. There is a play clock and they’re playing well within the spirit of the rules in doing so.
Mbappe displayed disgusting sportsmanship.
The golden generation got a golden showerMbappe displayed disgusting sportsmanship.
I bag on Pogba a lot, he was solid today. Took Fro out of itKante and Pogba were pretty immense.
Ok. Now solve kneeling to end a game (the definition of time wasting) and icing the kicker in football. Also take a crack at the basketball fouls.I agree with this. If you get a yellow card for time-wasting, another full minute should be added to the stoppage time IMO. You fake an injury, 3 more minutes to the official stoppage time. Martinez took Fro out of it. Left wing? WTF was that?I bag on Pogba a lot, he was solid today. Took Fro out of it
Did not realize you were a Real Madrid supporter...Dear french Chelsea players, stop fouling Hazard.
I am more interested in fixing the issues in the sport I love rather than fixing the issues in sports I don't.Ok. Now solve kneeling to end a game (the definition of time wasting) and icing the kicker in football. Also take a crack at the basketball fouls.
and commercials!Ok. Now solve kneeling to end a game (the definition of time wasting) and icing the kicker in football. Also take a crack at the basketball fouls.
Or they could just show the game clock, and stop it when appropriate.I agree with this. If you get a yellow card for time-wasting, another full minute should be added to the stoppage time IMO. You fake an injury, 3 more minutes to the official stoppage time. That #### would stop real fast.
