***OFFICIAL*** 2019 Cakeleeg - Standings update? (1 Viewer)

Have you had shrimp and grits from a southern belle who has made it her whole life and uses bacon grease and sharp white cheddar?  If not, I highly suggest you try and reconsider your stance on grits.
Grits from a cracker barrell or Waffle House are the worst thing on earth. Homemade stone ground grits made by somebody who knows what they are doing are unreal.

We had a lot left over and I tossed them tonight just because they really do stop your engine.

You can screw 'em up too if you don't know what you're doing.  Jeep sent me some grits from one of his kinfolk in Alabamy and I ruined them on my first try.  But gave it another go after some youtubing and TA DA, terrific.

My buddy's wife is from Baton Rouge and her shrimp and grits are plus plus...she's the one who clued me in on the bacon grease.  :porked:

I've never had grits at those places.  Cracker Barrel is basically giving up on life and Waffle House is only for drunks .

I had some shrimp and grits in NOLA at a fancy place, wish I'd have ordered something else.

My mom and dad aard from the south and she always had a tin can where she saved all her bacon grease for use in lots lf different recipes. She also used a ton of lard. Best cook ever. Biscuits and gravy. chicken and dumplings, cornbread and collard greens, all from scratch. Man I miss her cooking. Didn't realize how unhealthy i was until I got older. My dad had a quadruple bypass in his late 50's. Not much of a surprise, all things considered.

Year 17 of “plenty of talent available” brought to you by meundies....meundies, for when you’ve given up on life.

I was going to bang on you for taking Aaron ####### Hicks in Rd 6, but then I saw that was actually Stryker's doing.  So instead, I'm going to bang on you for partnering with @strykerpks
You took a guy with no major league at bats 2 picks later....a guy who hasn't hit or gotten on base this spring and stole as many bases last summer as you did in the minors.  Please, keep the criticisms going!  :lmao:
