I’m excited about him but he definitely seems like the kind of guy who will have an outing where he gives up 12 earned in 1 inning against the Orioles or something. 

Glasnow really seemed to develop some control of his nuclear stuff late last year and i was excited to snap him up for this season until i heard he was working on a new motion. One can trust TB pitching coaches over just about anybody, but a wild pitcher changing motions is a rope bridge to a troubled land.

Apparently they are adding a hitch to it. Like you said, Rays pitching knows what they are doing but it does seem weird. He’s so big that I can’t imagine it’s going to be easy to repeat a motion he just learned.
