***Official 2020 FBG T-shirt Exchange - COMPLETED - ALL PACKAGES SENT!*** (1 Viewer)

Made a few stops today and was able to secure some items.  Really hard finding anyone that has T Shirts. Many have not re-ordered during Covid.  Two more stops to make and then I can send it all out.
Seeing you are from Boise, I better be getting a Mr Potatohead.

:lmao:

My mom is from Michigan.  When I was sick as a kid, she would have me drink Vernors to help with an upset tummy.  Now, it just reminds me of throwing up.
My Mom would heat it up when we were not feeling well. I don’t make it back to Michigan that often, but I’d still drink Vernors if offered.

Now back to the t-shirts & swag..

That's how it was for me. I had to hit like 10 places to get 3 shirts

I just noticed that this thread title starts with four asterisks and ends with three.  I believe three is the accepted standard around here.
Thank you! I just have jacked it up editing it recently. It’s all fixed now.

Please let me know if you find anything else that annoys you.

Finally able to post pics of the awesome package sent by Drunken knight (accompanied with a great letter detailing some background information and details on all the beers):

Beers

Hats/Swag

Shirt 1 (front)

Shirt 1 (back)

Shirt 2 (front)

Shirt 2 (back)

Shirt 3

Once again...Drunken knight...well done!
For those following along.... BBWC does not like hoppy beer (nor do I).  I live very close to Lagunitas, and not terribly far from Russian River (known for pliny).  So was able to find more Belgian inspired beers for him.

I sent:

Russian river

Lagunitas

hen house (across the street from lagunitas)

a fort point Kolsch

I lived in Breckenridge for 10 years and worked in Vail.  One hat was from the winter Olympics in Utah.  Guinness shirt is from Ireland.

And just an update : I have collected everything that I need to send and will be sending it out this weekend.

My package is out for delivery in NY.  Now we see what UPS managed to get into the box.
:excited:

Package received.... haven't opened it yet (swamped at work) but will do so when I am free

:excited:
All I can say is wow. I honestly think Krista should win the 2020 T Shirt Exchange award! She really knocked it out of the park with this one.

She sent 8 (yes eight!) T Shirts! 2 onesies for my baby girl! An awesome Lake Chelan hat (wearing it as I type this up) and some cool glassware. But wait… there’s more… she also sent some stickers, a really cool slap-koozy (can’t wait to put this one to use) and a really nice letter to explain it all.

@krista4 I am speechless. Thank you so much! This was really a very thoughtful package and your stalking skills are excellent! You were able to figure out that I’ve got a newborn (almost 6 months old now), I am a huge Stevie Wonder fan and yes, you guessed correctly, I am a frustrated Jets fan (not sure if I want to subject my daughter to a lifetime of pain and suffering, but she will definitely wear this Jets outfit). All of the shirts are really cool and are immediately going into my rotation. Again, thank you K4. Really thoughtful and well done.

Stay tuned for pics of the haul.

W00t!  Sounds like it all made it in the package.  And I'm particularly happy that I got the stalking right.  :)   You had posted something like "another long-suffering Jets fan" to someone, which I took to mean that you were too, but then later worried that maybe you weren't saying that at all!

ETA:  I kept buying shirts because I wasn't sure I'd gotten ones that were any good.  :bag:

You nailed it. And all of the shirts are great, especially the Stehekin one. Very cool and original.

Same here on shirts. On vacation in Maine and I tried to pick up a shirt at 2 different spots and they were all out.

If you live near Sewell, be on the lookout.  Your package should be arriving today.
Tourist mecca of the northeast! Out of town for the week (scouting shirts and such) , but my neighbor policed up my connex sized box after renting a forklift and was able to scrunch it into the garage after moving the semi out and adding on a second story! I'll report back next weekend. Thanks Winz-inator!!

Thanx for replying.  Let us know if everything arrived in good shape when you finally return home and crack it open.  Fingers crossed...

Alright people. Listen up. The deadline to send swag is tomorrow. There are still a lot of people who have not sent anything, or at least have not marked the spreadsheet. If I have mentioned you in this thread, please reply and let me know if you have sent something, and if not, when you plan to.

If you cannot send something for some reason, please let me know that too. We will find a substitute stalkee, but we need to know ASAP.

Thanks for the updates guys. I'll give it a couple more days to see who responds and who is getting their packages together. After that we will look for alternate senders. If you are interested in sending another package, let me know and I'll put you on the reserve list.

We will make sure that everyone gets a package this year!

Stay tuned for pics of the haul.

Ack!  Your baby is the cutest ever!!!

Glad it all worked out - great pics!!

I've got my package together and sitting in a box ready to be sent out, just need to get off work for now and head to UPS.

BACK IN ACTION HERE! I had planned to pick up my last couple of items and ship on this past Friday, my day off. Welp, Laura had other plans. No power or internet since early Thursday AM. It has been a cluster to say the least. I hope I may have  a few days grace. I think the brewery is closed until Wednesday (not sure what their power/damage status is), therefore my plan is to have my package en route by Thursday.

Do we have any new hug adventures?

Alright! Glad it made it OK!

Four Peaks and San Tan are my two favorite Phoenix area brew pubs. Both have incredible food and great beer. The beers I sent are two of my favorites from Four Peaks.

San Tan recently started distilling whiskey too, hence the bourbon. Honestly, it's not the greatest bourbon in the world, but it's pretty darn good for a small brewery to take it on.

The Kutta shirt and hat, well, they speak for themselves. You are the first to get a "Kutta Radios" shirt. I've only sent "Kutta Tech" shirts in the past, so you should be pretty honored. And, that's the first of the Kutta hats!

FYI - Four Peaks is a mountain range NE of Phoenix. The original brewery was named after the moutain range and was built in an old milk cremery in Tempe AZ near Arizona State University.

San Tan is also a mountain range in the area, and San Tan Valley is a part of the Phoenix valley area near Chandler where the brewery first opened.

Enjoy!
