Not the move I would have preferred.  CBs are like WRs where it doesn't hurt to have too many.

I wouldn't think so.  The NHL had that situation with the lockout and mixed it up for the Sidney Crosby draft best of my recollection.  I think they held a lottery.

Yeah NHL did a weighted lottery based on how a team performed the previous 3 years.  And it was relatively flat.  They did a lottery for all 30 picks.

Lemme tell you something. When you have a rookie RB who goes for 800/6 in his first NFL game and only gets *checks stats* 527 yards rushing and 2 rushing TDs the rest of his rookie year, I don't want that guy on my team.
