*Official 2020 Philadelphia Eagles Thread* Humanity will never recover from the most horrible event to happen in the last 100 years: Doug Pederson pla (3 Viewers)

Falcons just canned Dan Quinn as HC. He was a really good DC for Sea for awhile before going to ATL to be HC. Not sure if everything wrong in ATL is overall his fault but he'd be a way more competent DC then Jim Schwartz if you want to replace him

No thanks. His D in ATL was even softer than Schwartz's.

I don't think going to Dalton hurts the Cowboys division chances much. Now they'll probably win the division at 8-8 instead of 7-9.

Eagles are gonna struggle to get to 5 wins.

DK Metcalf in 21 games:
- 80 catches, 1,396 yards, 12 TD including 3 game-winners

As a Wentz & Metcalf owner, I was hoping Metcalf was drafted by them but I ma quite happy where he is. Wilson knows exactly what to do with him. Pederson, no.

Now as far as the Eagles, why is Jeffery and Jackson still employed? They are done. If Fulgham is standing on the sidelines while Jeffrey plays, I'm gonna be pissed.

I dunno, I like it.  Lots of Defensive coaches turned head coaches end up sucking even at the defensive aspect of the new job.  Sometimes they need to spend their time just focusing on defense.  It's not like Patricia's D has been amazing or anything.

And also when they're fired from a HC job they often are working extra hard to get that opportunity again.  I'd take Quinn at DC for sure.

And Pederson should be fired on the spot.
Why I'd give him a Season or 2. Just curious who would you want to replace him right now? Not many great or better options. I think Doug is still a really good coach to an extent and has proved that over time. I'm getting more concerned with our Def Cord and the people drafting then I am of the HC.

Given his track record outside of ATL he's worth a shot and he believes in LBs too so he's well ahead of Schwartz. I'm not sure who's gonna be out there if we get rid of Schwartz but at least I'm throwing some names out there unlike some people who just say fire this and that guy and can't explain who'd they want to replace them or what kind of guy they want.

He’s a leader of men, which is not easy to do. See Gase, Adam and Patricia, Matt.

Fans will be allowed back at the stadium this week.
Max capacity is 7,500 so, like the Steelers, that probably means 5-6k fans.
Ticket sales for Sunday's game against the Ravens and next Thursday night's game against the Giants begin on Wednesday for Season Ticket Members who opted into the 2020 season. Any remaining tickets for those two games will go on sale to the general public at a later date.

eta- Still no tailgating

To piggyback off of this From Jeff Skerversky posting info from the Eagles Website (Info PSA it's long)

Eagles will have fans at Sunday’s game against Baltimore!!!

The Linc occupancy will be limited to 7,500 total people, including Eagles and Ravens players, coaches, team and stadium personnel, media and fans

Info From

Philadelphia Eagles

Single-Game Ticket On-Sale

Due to the limited capacity at Lincoln Financial Field, single-game tickets versus the Baltimore Ravens (Oct. 18) and New York Giants (Oct. 22) will go on sale to Season Ticket Members who have opted into the 2020 season beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Tickets will be sold in groups with the ability to purchase as many as six tickets in the same seating pod. Any remaining tickets for the Ravens and Giants games will go on sale to the general public and communicated at a later date. Single-game tickets for the remaining 2020 home games will go on sale in the coming weeks.

Lincoln Financial Field Policies and Protocols

Several changes to the game day experience at Lincoln Financial Field have been made to create a safe environment for fans and staff. A full breakdown of the policies and protocols for the 2020 season is available at PhiladelphiaEagles.com/Know-Before-You-Go. Some of these changes include:

Mask Policy

Face coverings are required for all guests (age two and up) at all times, other than while actively eating or drinking (which should only occur when seated), within Lincoln Financial Field and in parking lots.

Based on guidance from health authorities, bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not permitted face coverings.

Social Distancing

Fans will be required to maintain six feet of social distance from other fans and stadium staff at all times.

Signage throughout the stadium will help guide fans in maintaining proper social distancing.

Seating Pods & Mobile Ticketing

Personalized seating pods have been established for proper social distancing and limited fan-to-fan contact.

Each seating pod has been appropriately spaced out to allow six feet of distance in all directions.

Fans are encouraged to purchase blocks of tickets and attend games with family and other trusted acquaintances.

To help maintain social distancing guidelines, it is NFL Policy that ticket holders cannot sell, transfer or otherwise provide any of their tickets to anyone other than family with whom the ticket holder has been sheltering (or other trusted acquaintances). The NFL Policy accepts if the seller’s full pod of tickets are being sold, transferred or provided to one party.

As has been the case in previous years, mobile ticketing will continue to be utilized. The Eagles Mobile App provides the most convenient access to mobile tickets.

Fans within the same seating pod can enter together, but are not required to do so. A ticket holder who has their ticket transferred to them can enter the stadium separate from the other guests in their seating pod.

Contactless Parking

Social gatherings or tailgating in the sports complex are not permitted for the 2020 season.

Parking passes will be digital and fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their parking ahead of time. If a fan chooses to purchase parking on game day, a game ticket must be presented to the attendant at the booth.

Only fans with tickets to the game will be granted access to the parking lots.

K Lot and the Wells Fargo Center lots will be operational on game days, and will open approximately two hours before kickoff. To ensure a more convenient and quicker trip from the parking lot to Lincoln Financial Field, it is recommended that fans park in the designated lot found on their game ticket.

To maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, every other spot in each parking aisle will be utilized.

Contactless Gate Entry

Gates will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff and guests will be assigned a specific gate for entry that corresponds to the location of their game ticket.

The clear bag policy will be in effect. Bags no larger than 12x6x12 are permitted.

Walk-through metal detectors will allow for social distance screening.

Fans will be asked to manage their own items as they go through the metal detectors.

Cashless Concessions

All transactions will be cashless at the concessions stands.

Cash conversion machines/stations will be available at the stadium.

All meals and menu options, condiments and utensils will be pre-packaged and disposable.

Food handling and preparation, as always, will be in accordance with FDA best practices.

The Eagles Pro Shop on Pepsi Plaza will be open in a limited capacity and all merchandise transactions will also be cashless.

Stadium Cleaning & Staff Protocols

In accordance with CDC guidelines, the stadium will undergo a thorough cleaning, disinfecting and sanitation process before, during and after each game.

Numerous hand sanitization stations will be located throughout the stadium.

Frequent sanitization of high-touched surfaces such as handrails, doorknobs and tables will occur.

COVID-19 signage has been placed throughout the stadium to encourage compliance with mask wearing and proper social distancing.

All staff members were required to complete a mandatory COVID-19 protocol training.

Health questionnaires and temperature screenings will be required of all staff before entering the stadium.

Fan Health Promise

In an effort to keep everyone safe inside the stadium, and as part of the Fan Health Promise, fans must stay home if:

They have tested positive for, or been exposed to someone who tested positive for, COVID-19 within the prior 14 days.

They have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (fever of 100.4⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the CDC) within the prior 48 hours.

They have traveled to any state or international territory identified by federal or applicable local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19 within the prior 14 days.

Smoking will be prohibited in all areas of Lincoln Financial Field, including previously designated smoking areas.

Fans are encouraged to download the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s free COVID ALERT PA app, which notifies users if they have been potentially exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. More information on the COVID ALERT PA app can be found by visiting pa.gov/covid/covid-alert-pa/.

Thank God!  The rides home have been amazing lol
I would like to see better rules on tailgating in General. DOn't have a ticket to the game? Sorry can't be tailgating. Would crack down on a lot of the stupidity. A lot of the idiots causing issues are just there to get bombed and don't have a ticket for the game. If you are going to XFinity Live for the game fine but they should have some sort of parking just for that.

On ticket sales, they randomized groups of people to receive the invitation and they get 90 minutes to accept before the team moves on to inviting the next group.
So, if you want tickets stay close to your phone/PC!
General public can buy any remaining starting tomorrow.
(Didn't hear if this applies to both upcoming home games or just Ravens)

We almost have to trade Ertz at this point tho. With our cap space, and the lack of production, I can't see any justification for the extension he's gonna want.

I agree I'm biased and I know we got holes but I'm not sure we really will be in a position where if we draft a need it's an overdraft. There's a TE who can't be missed from the Philly area in Kyle Pitts out of UF who's a match up nightmare and catches everything thrown to him. Maybe if we can trade back with him there and get more picks it's worth it as the team plays a lot of 12 Personel. There's your Ertz Replacement right there.

A bewildering roster gaffe and more in Roob's random Eagles observations

n ill-advised roster decision, DeSean Jackson’s contract, a rookie I want to see more of and the smallest crowd in Eagles history.A

All that and much more in this weekend’s edition of Roob’s 10 random Eagles observations!

1. Here’s what bothers me about the Eagles losing Casey Toohill: They kept Vinny Curry instead. Now, Curry is one of my favorite Eagles of the last decade. He’s a quality guy and has been a fine Eagle. But why would a team that already has Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, Derek Barnett and Genard Avery need a 32-year-old Vinny Curry as a fifth DE? Toohill is a rookie seventh-round draft pick who had an impressive training camp, made the 53 and even got 22 snaps in the Rams game. He’s eight years younger than Curry. But with Curry's IR practice window open, the Eagles released Toohill on Tuesday, trying to sneak him onto the practice squad. Washington claimed him, and now a rookie draft pick is with another NFC East team because the Eagles decided to bring back Curry for a ninth season. Nothing against Curry. He had a good year last year. He’s a pro. But if you’re going to have a youth movement, you just can’t keep a 32-year-old deep backup over a promising 24-year-old rookie draft pick.

2. Who can name the last person to start a game at center for the Eagles before Jason Kelce? You could have given me 100 guesses and I wouldn’t have gotten it right. Answer below.

3. Since rejoining the Eagles before last season, Jackson has earned a $7.17 million signing bonus, a $2 million option bonus, $1.03 million in 2019 base salary, $2.189 million in 2020 base salary, $800,000 in workout bonuses and $150,000 in roster bonuses. That’s $13.34 million, with another $4 million in base salary due the rest of this year ($364,706 per week over the next 11 weeks). He’s caught 19 passes.

4. I like what I see from K’Von Wallace. Think that kid is going to be pretty good.

5. We’re a third of the way through the season, and Corey Clement and Boston Scott have a 3.1 rushing average and 138 combined scrimmage yards. Scott had 138 scrimmage yards in the second Giants game alone last year. The Eagles have to get at least one of those guys going or find a running back somewhere who can add some punch to this group. Whether it’s Jason Huntley, Adrian Killins, Elijah Holyfield or someone else, the Eagles need someone who can add some juice because these guys aren’t producing.

6. Miles Sanders vs. LeSean McCoy after 20 career games: Sanders has 350 more scrimmage yards, 224 more rushing yards, a higher rushing average (4.7 to 4.4) and one more touchdown (9 to 8).

7. The 7,000 fans at the Linc Sunday won’t be the smallest crowd to watch an Eagles game (not counting the two games last month with no fans). The Eagles played one home game during the 1987 player strike and 4,074 fans showed up at the Vet to watch the Bears’ replacement players (plus several regulars) beat the Eagles’ replacement players, 35-3. Although attendance data is spotty for the Eagles’ early years, the smallest crowd on record for an Eagles home game is 1,880 who braved rain and bitter cold to see the Eagles and Brooklyn Dodgers play a scoreless tie on Oct. 1, 1939 at Municipal Stadium in South Philly (later JFK).

8. The Eagles have scored more points each week than the previous week: 17, 19, 23, 25, 29. It’s the first time in the Eagles’ 88-year history they’ve done that through five weeks.

9. Greg Ward is the first undrafted player in Eagles history to catch 20 passes in each of his first two NFL seasons. And he did it in seven games last year and five so far this year.

10. If you made an alphabetical list of the approximately 25,000 players in NFL history, Jordan Mailata and Jordan Matthews would be next to each other.

Trivia answer: The last person to start a game at center for the Eagles other than Kelce is David Molk, who started four games early in 2014 when Kelce was out with sports hernia surgery. They were the only four starts of Molk’s career. Molk is now the co-owner of a mechanical and engineering manufacturing company in his hometown of Lemont, Ill
