Official 2022 college football thread: its conference realignment season. (1 Viewer)

Penn State is one of the best underrated places for big games. The stadium isn't "exciting" but the 110+ and atmosphere is awesome
I’m not sure what you mean by “exciting”; the student section is one of - if not the - most raucous in CFB.
If you sit up top in the south end zone you get a beautiful view of Mount Nittany.
I've been to ~20 PSU games but it has probably been a good 10 years since my last one. What I meant by exciting was the stadium itself was kind of "plain" compared to others.... thats all I meant by that

I'm making a list of college football stadiums to watch a game at...just to experience it. My list this far:

OSU
Penn State
LSU
Florida
Clemson

Thoughts?

Buddy went to OSU for the Oregon game last year, said it was a dump. Covid wasn't quite done, so I'm sure that impacted the situation, but long lines to get any sort of drink, hot, stuffy, jam packed, bad views.

The game was fun, though.

Always conflicted when this week rolls around every year with two of my graduate alma maters facing each other, tOSU v. MSU. State is so bad on D, it's not going to be pretty for them. Bucks are a machine. It'll still be fun hanging with friends in E.L. from both schools. tOSU rolls 65-10.

Venables is lost. It’s tough to say because the players are so bad but getting blown out like this is on him. They need Gabriel back to have a chance to even get first downs.

Been watching TCU-Kansas and Purdue-Maryland. I haven't been able to switch my TV back and forth fast enough. Wow. My Horned frogs survived and it looks like the Boilermakers will too. Good day so far.

Michigan having a rough day

2 RZ failures & 8 penalties (+ 2 that were declined)
Terrible offense today. Defense always seems to make the right adjuatments at the half..........definitely approve. They just keep getting better.
I'm not sure what effect running back coach Mike Hart being carried off the field on a stretcher had, but that's never a good thing.

They were tearing up on the field. No question that was impactful but the problems in play calling were there long before that happened.

Purdue almost gave away it again….they can’t close a half. Crazy they are two plays away from being 6-0.

Was at a UT/OU party so I missed most of the other fun. I see Big Game Brian is back in full force. Enjoy that LSU.

Weird to say but I’m looking forward to Tennessee/Bama next week.

Side note, as Texas moves to the SEC there’s gotta be some UT vs UT language that has to form around that game, right?

Just checking in to say that any bulldog that plays UGA lives a charmed life. The players don’t have AC, but the dog does.

Notre Dame defense is all over BYU. One pick, another dropped pick, and now a safety. Offense must do it’s job and make it a multi-score game
