Official 2022 college football thread: its conference realignment season. (2 Viewers)

Weirdly, the win vs Syracuse today was the highest ranked road win since ND beat OU in 2012. Yup, BK didn’t have even a higher ranked road win the past 9 years 🤦‍♂️

It’s been since 1997 since ND beat a top 20 team by 17 or more.

Absolute trainwreck after that stupid 4th down call. Keep choppin' my ***, run the damn play... Defense is keeping the game close. Total surprise to me.

The Genius of Jay Johnson.

Got a huge mismatch the other team can't stop (Keon), and have a great chance to go to it? PYSCH.

Got a half yard to go on 4th down and all you have to do is run a sneak or quick hitter? PYSCH. Get to the same situation again, everyone knows you've learned from your failure, right? PYSCH.

If you would have told me State would hold them to 22ish points this game I would’ve taken it. The offense is losing this game and it’s not close

Told a lot of people to take MSU and the points....that penalty is going to suck for those that took my advice :bag:

ETA: Maybe not....but just barely.

Tennessee is going to beat Georgia in Athens
Nah

Tennessee is going to beat Georgia in Athens
Nope

Not talking **** because TN will obviously be Dogs in Athens... but I'd love to hear you guys' best guess at final score.

I think Tennessee will most likely score mid to upper 30s on Georgia... with a decent chance getting into the mid to upper 40s.
Georgia 38
Tennessee 24

A Michigan player was walking up the tunnel and jumped by an MSU player. Up to 10 MSU players were kicking the Michigan player while he was down. Jumping a player after you lose is the softest thing I’ve ever heard. Should be a ton of punishment on the coaches, players should be expelled.

MSU Sucks

MSU is trash

Excellent work by the Spartans. The line was 22.5. They only lost by 22. That’s a moral victory.

Not really, 6-7 MSU players caught on video beating and stomping a Michigan player in the tunnel after the game.

Takes away from any moral victory.

Yea, I also saw that Tucker got assaulted by a UM fan in the stands when he was entering the tunnel who reached over the railing and scratched / slapped the top of his head as he walked by. Weird

That tunnel UM stadium tunnel seems to create a lot of bad situations it seems...

Tennessee might score some but I think it’ll be their lowest output of the year. I’ll go 38-24 dawgs

I was a bit surprised that WVU was keeping pace with TCU, at least for most of the game. They need to get better to actually challenge for titles and I’m not confident in Brown.

Not shocked at all.

It's all the tunnel's fault!!!!! It's weird that "the tunnel" causes problems every single week huh?? Oh wait.....

I took MSU and the points only because it is a rivalry game. We got lucky as the score easily could have been 42/45-7 as Michigan dominated. But a betting win is a betting win.

Watching ESPN this morning and that was an ugly incident by the MSU players. Losing is one thing but that should never happen. They said the one kid might have a broken nose or cheek bone from getting stomped with cleats. There will be some suspensions for sure or possible removal from the team.

You do realize that BK beat a top 10 team a week ago by 25, right?

MSU Prez apologizes to University of Michigan.

I’m extremely saddened by this incident and the totally unacceptable behavior depicted by members of our football program. On behalf of Michigan State University, my heartfelt apology to the University of Michigan and the student athletes who were injured.
“There is no provocation that could justify the behavior we are seeing on the videos. Rivalries can be intense but should never be violent.
“Coach Tucker will be holding all the players involved responsible, and our football team and university will be cooperating with all related investigations by law enforcement and the Big Ten Conference.”

Right...it's why they paid him the big bucks. The score should have been WAAAAY worse, but Michigan can't seem to get it together in the red zone. As to the rest, we'll see. I'll believe it when I see it.
