Official 2022 college football thread: its conference realignment season. (2 Viewers)

Whelp, this thing's over. So is the Championship. Alabama ends up as the best team in the nation and OSU ends up with the trophy. Interesting.

LOL @ Kirby Smart choking at the end of the first half. No need to go for points there, play scared / not-to-lose instead. Hilarious.

All that cash can buy players but apparently, not balls.

The bad news is Michigan is getting hammered and my family is sad and I am pulling for them but the good news is when I go to a game next year and the announcer does the pregame “we are the greatest program in history and we bow down to nobody” shtick I’ll still be able to roll my eyes a little.

Greatest program history? Doesn't Michigan have one National Championship in their history? That's asinine.
Buddy they say it loud and proud, multiple times.

Have they heard of a state names Alabama? Hell, Ohio State has more hardware. What silliness.
To be fair, if they are counting like Alabama does, they have 11 or 12. Personally, I've always found the notion of "champion" in college football to be one of the more subjective things going.

He got him with his shoulder

targeting rule explained

it’s not limited to leading with the crown of your helmet; shoulder or forearm counts as well. guess the key is targeting the head or shoulder area of a defenseless player.

lots of definitions in article 3 & 4 of rule 9 in the link above

edit - stroke

bs - that was not unintended - nice launch and crown to crown

yeah, he got him with the shoulder ...after he about broke his neck on his helmet

the phantom RTP on the Lions the play before Rodgers’ 2015 Hail Mary
first of all how dare you
What can I say, you’re right. It wasn’t a phantom RTP. It was a phantom face mask penalty
Rodgers is lucky his head wasn't thrown in to the stands there. an egregious assault like the NFL has never seen before or since. a purely heinous act.

Third worst thing ever seen on a football field, after Randy Moss mooning the crowd and Timberlake exposing Janet Jackson’s nipple
