I had to stay away for a while. Just the weakest, least passionate defense in history. I really wanted to take it out on a certain ***la fan but that would have only been out of anger. It's not his fault. At least not entirely.
I did. And my LSU big bet came in. But man there have been some painful beats during the last several days. (I'm posting this at a very inopportune time considering the young man injured during MNF...honestly just came to FFA to distract myself from that situation.....)

Very quiet around the area, for a team that's playing for a natty you'd think the hype machine would be in overdrive. You see a lot more yard/car/shirts out for a Mavs 2nd round playoff than a TCU championship.
I don't think anyone really saw this coming, but you can probably point to Covid as the reason TCU is here. They maintained a core group of 3 star types that played their 5th year. It's a bit like a 13 seed in the NCAA with a lot of seniors on the team. Also, much is being made that the 5 starting OL have played every.single.game. That probably hasn't ever happened in any era for any P5 team. I need to find that stat again but that OL has the record for most total starts by some factor of 2 or something silly.
Georgia has no Covid waivers playing any major time, most left for the NFL last year.
Will make for an interesting game, but ultimately thinking Georgia wins by 3 TD or more.

Could’ve been at 1 before those nfl games. The nfl didn’t have the matchups set, but had the 430 and 8 block set aside. Easily could have played that at 1 imo.

agreed - not defending, just saw that the NFL would have likely had Cincy game go at 1pm EST on Saturday since the other games are at 33:30 and 7pm or so

Yea that would have just been bad luck, but purposefully going against the teeth of the nfl schedule is nuts to me. I won’t even be able to watch now, we are having a small party of diehards over and I’m not even going to bother trying to explain North Dakota state vs South Dakota state instead of the Bills or other big games. Sucks.

Yeah, this is normally the wildcard weekend so the NFL has always had the late afternoon and night spots the first saturday in January
