No, I think you're on it. Broadcast has talked about not a lot of great viewing areas. The crowd that is there, outside of the grandstands, are mostly in between fairways to see multiple holes. Many tees and greens have no one around them, so not a lot of big roars.

Crowd isn't there. Only 9,000 tix were made available to general public.
And LACC tried initially to have ZERO tix available. Not kidding.

And this NBC coverage - all parts of it - is like a grade-school production.

The course only limited to 22k per day. Not covid

Details on LACC tickets. 23,000 for sale to the general public—but 14,000 of those were for hospitality. Those are very expensive.

Only 9,000 GA warriors. These are the people that bring the energy, the atmosphere. And that’s just a shockingly low number. The corporate Open.

From the comments and other tweets, of those 9K for GA, either the Club or Club Members snapped up 4K. So really it's 5K regular fans out there.
 
It'd be scary if Rory could putt. He's been mostly pure with the long game the last two days and hasn't made ANYTHING. Golf is tough when you can't score.
 
Clark was the best player this week. Most impressive. Rory’s ball striking was amazing though. And it shows how great Scheffler is. He was ho hum (for him) all week and still finished 3rd. But we are going to see a whole lot more of Clark. Dude bombs it with a great short game. Winning combo
 
Both Rory and Rickie just got too conservative on Sunday…you could really see it in Rickie’s putting.

I don't know if that was the case with Rory. His putting wasn't good enough all week and the course firmed up just enough on the afternoon groups to require pin point execution tee-to-green to get anywhere near the hole.
 
Only rd 1, but some names at the top of the leaderboard I’ve never seen before
