Love how the Dutch exploited the wall and went low just past the laying down guy. Brilliant set piece.

Man, these exciting games are really triggering my cognitive dissonance. How can I hate on FIFA/Qatari corruption when they have me on the edge of my seat like this?

Argentina and Brazil are constantly measuring themselves against each other. I guess today they're going for "most epic collapse"
 
Why was that Argentinian guy lying down on the ground behind the wall for that free kick? Is that normal?

We were discussing this earlier in the match. Relatively new tactic (last 5-10 years or so?) to avoid free kicks going under the wall. The Dutch just went around it.

I had never seen it before today, but apparently you do it so that the guys on the wall can jump in the air but the kicker can't sneak it under their feet while they're in the air

it is something that has just starting coming into vogue in the last year or so. I don't remember anyone ever doing it before that though
