You are onside in your half. Once you pass the midfield line you have to have two opposing players between you and the goal

I was just discussing it with my 13 year old who has been playing since she was 6.
Wait until you see a keeper get forward and how people lose their minds because he is usually one of the 2 and it confuses when he isn't in the goal.

And don't worry, I had to explain to an AYSO ref how offside work when he explained it incorrectly to a parent AR.

That's a big statement. I haven't been able to watch all the games, but I felt like from highlights that Brazil could have had a similar score line yesterday but shut it down at halftime.

Thanks. It was Osgood-Schlatter disease where basically my body/puberty hadn't caught up to the amount of physical activity I was doing as I was playing hours of soccer, baseball, basketball, roller hockey, etc. daily. I was in lots of pain nightly. So, the doctor told me to quit the sport with most running which was soccer. I hit puberty and was fine like a year later but at that time I was entering high school and was almost solely focused on baseball and played fall ball so didn't touch a soccer ball again until my 20s when I played in a low-level rec league and coached some.

This is a good point and honestly believe it or not, I kind of forgot yesterday. I would have to rethink that maybe but for me the Swiss >> S. Korea and Portugal just punked them. Brazil was just playing for fun in the 2nd half and took the gas off. Portugal dominated pretty much 80+ minutes.
