**OFFICIAL 2025 Draft Thread - Green Bay Opens The Door For Guests** (3 Viewers)

No, Shedeur Sanders cannot return to college football after entering the 2025 NFL Draft. By declaring for the draft and participating in events like the NFL Scouting Combine, he forfeited his remaining NCAA eligibility. NCAA rules prohibit players from returning to college football once they've officially declared for the draft and accepted benefits associated with the draft process.

NFLN is in death watch mode because Sanders hasn’t been picked yet.
Yeah discussion of his potentially returning to college.

Dude was siting in the draft room on day 1.

Ouch.
Does he have legibility? Would make more NIL than his NFL paycheck.
He hasn't signed a contract yet so too early to know
They came in to say he could *not* go back to college.

So if Deion the first time it came up, had said, "Shedeur is his own man and will make his own way in the NFL. I'll be a proud father, but my career is here as a college football coach, and I'll let my son take care of his career and just quietly support him as would any father."

Do you think Shedeur would have been drafted long before now?

Honestly no.

I think Eisen nailed it - he’s not seen as a starter, but he’s also not seen as worth spending a high-ish pick on him as a backup.

He’s like Spencer Rattler II.
