Big win after going down 3 early. Why aren’t they playing tomorrow ?
Gotta be 1 or both of:
They want to stretch the playoffs out as much as possible.
They don't want to completely go up against the NFL for viewers.
They want to stagger the off days for weeknight games, and probably the NFL thing to a degree as well
For sure. But last week with 4 games per day was pretty great.

I've been watching football but keeping an eye out and this is kind of amusing. When we were facing the Jays two weeks or so ago I was looking at their stats and watching their ABs and my folks had unfortunately had to go to Detroit because my uncle, who was in bad dementia/Alzheimer's decline, died (suddenly) and I watched that Jays series and told my mother when she got back like, "these guys seem to have a whole bunch of bats."

And so they do and are showing it.

I'm sure you all know, but it was certainly interesting to watch that three-game set.

Just here to say I ❤️ Alejandro Kirk
He's been so good the past couple weeks.

Ernie Clement is the huge surprise for me, I was sure he was just a guy and part of me still thinks he is but they say he is absolutely incredible in the clubhouse, he led MLB in Defensive Runs Saved, despite playing 15 games at 1B, 60 games at 2B, 89 games at 3B and 29 games at SS... and yes that's way more than 162 games, he moved all over the place in game all year.

He also led the Jays in games played, playing in 157 games and he was basically just a league average hitter but he was clutch as hell and add in the above, he was worth 3.2 wins but also so much more for the vibes he brings.

Was at yesterday's game. Incredible environment. Huge win. Hopefully Jays can keep it going.
Must have been an amazing experience. It's a 2 hour trek for me, from London, and I really do hate Toronto traffic, but wish I would have bit the bullet and bought tickets. Was not ideal to have the Yankees score a bunch of late runs but a win is a win.

lets go brew crew like ole merle webb said lets do it for all the small towns who never had a chance take that to the bank bromigos
My college roommate is from New London, and another friend is from Oconomowoc.

They are both highly enthused.
the sign on 45 in new london used to say new london as far north as you need to go and was made so much fun of that it was like saying new london give up now because you are tired of driving and man any city with 5 os in it that has racoon as its mascot and calls its land o lakes team the 5 os is probably aok in my book take that to the bank brocooneys

Yep. Bats didn’t show. Got some washed dudes that need to go.
Philly fans smh
Dodgers/Cowboys/Lakers fans. :bored:
I hate basketball. And I don’t give up in the 2nd quarter/7th inning 🙄
If youve seen the script 100 times, why do you keep watching? If the players actually cared, I might too.

So what's a more agonizing way to lose? Dying a death with no effort or coming back at the end and losing it in extra innings?
