New golf thread for fun title updating.
Going to the RBC Heritage in April (week after the Masters). I've never been to a PGA Tour event. Sister and BIL moved to Savannah, GA in May so I thought this was as good of a time as any. Pretty pumped.
Caught that too lol…love his overall attitude, but he’s unbearable on the ballTV announcer with a nice comment after Tom Kim took 1 minute 42 to hit a ball out of bounds: "That shot wasn't worth the wait. For him or for us”
That was great. As was Immelman's comment on Jason Day's sweatsuit... "Did he lose his luggage?"TV announcer with a nice comment after Tom Kim took 1 minute 42 to hit a ball out of bounds: "That shot wasn't worth the wait. For him or for us".
It's not a fun sport to watch at times.....the pace of play needs to be addressed (no pun intended).
I'm in Ventura. From where? @CGRdrJoe and I might be on the way……..Thinking of driving down to see the final round of the Genesis at Torrey Pines
So Davis had his ball land on Justin Rose's ball and he ends up chipping in for birdie anyway, then he hits a flop shot off the roots to like a foot and a half and right after that. Justin Rose putts his five wood from like 70 ft and makes it for eagle. What a crazy event for that! Threesome

Why this isn't already a TV show going into it's tenth season is a tragedy

Top 5 finish today, I think. Kinda pulling for him to win it.Åberg!

"Might" be doable with a knowledgeable caddy. An average of 3.5 putts per hole gets you a 63. You could be super conservative on the holes with the potential of putting into the water or a bunker. Don't think I could do it going in cold with no help from a caddy.
Yeah an Augusta caddie, or a few practice rounds (with the ability to hit multiple putts on each green like the pros do during their practice rounds, would make a huge difference). With that, I like my odds to average well less than four putts per hole evening assuming the worst spots to putt from on each green. Of course, I have never play Augusta let alone played it during the Masters with the more challenging conditions. I have spoken with colleagues and playing partners who have played Augusta and for their respective rounds they talked more about the undulation on the course making the massive difference. I'm sure they didn't have Masters' week pin placements but I think it's at least somewhat telling where, when speaking about the difficulty, they didn't start with the greens."Might" be doable with a knowledgeable caddy. Campbell getting the win after that lucky OB bounce on the second playoff hole was pretty nuts
100s to 1000s of hours of hard work culminated into a moment. He's about to exponentially increase his income.Campbell getting the win after that lucky OB bounce on the second playoff hole was pretty nuts
One of the best photos I've seen in a while - just pure bliss these two. So happy for him and his gal.
