2-1 last night with the bombers so YTD +66 smackers.

Tonights picks:

TOR +180

TEX +188

WASH +180

TB +190

CIN +122

SFG +129

Still don't see the point to laying big numbers? But I haven't got a friggin' clue to betting baseball.

Okay...actually won one earlier, let's see if I can get this rolling.

Astros have f'ed me all year long, but I'm going back to the well here.

Astros +107 - 1 unit

Jennings is on the DL, Williams is getting injections in his elbow in April, Astros are desperate for a starting pitcher to step up. Matt Albers, here's your chance. Duke held the Stros bats in check last matchup, but since that time he's been sporting a 12+ ERA and letting up over 2 batters to reach base per inning. I think the Astros are in a good spot here.

I also played a RL Parlay:

Minnesota & Boston

risk 1 to make 4.5

Boston has Schilling on the hill, and he should give them some solid innings. Cabrera for Baltimore is good, but this is a veteran Red Sox lineup that can take pitches. I think Cabrera lets up some runs and is up around 100 pitches by inning 5. I'll lay the run line here as I think the Sox offense is explosive enough to do some damage.

In Minnesota, last time these two pitchers met, it was a slug fest, which KC won 11-7. However, that game was in KC. KC is miserable on the road, 2-7 this year...while Minnesota ordinarily enjoys a pretty good home field advantage (this year at .500). This is a game Minnesota should win, and they have a huge bullpen advantage. decent spot to take a chance.

So, I actually have some money in my bodog poker account. How are they for betting on baseball? I'm only asking because I already have a ton of money in poker and really don't want to use a credit card to fund my old empty sportsbook.com account or to open a new betjam account.

Nevermind. I'm BACK in the game betting at Bodog. I'm going to bet based on Roarin's dog system page for a while, and hope to bet on the chase plays posted by beaver as well. Here's what I've got for tomorrow - all 1 unit bets:Seattle +120KC +130Pittsburgh +105Texas +120

I'm thinking Texas Cle Over tonight. Both pitchers have been getting shelled and their ERA vs. the clubs they face tonight is 7+. And the Texas bats are heating up a bit as well plus a very favorable wind direction and speed.
Sabathia threw a bunch of Ks, but as was expected gave up enough runs to get this thing over in the 6th. :banned:

Dimeline up to -155 or so, which isn't as bad as CRIS/bookmaker. 20 cent overnights on just sides - none are ever appealing enough to bet. You could do worse and if you already have money in there - roll with it.

We had a little bump in the road yesterday but it could have been worse...

Our plays today..

Seattle +129- Number seems good, Seattle on a little uptick, they have won their last two

Baltimore +139- Know the Red Sox have a tendency to run into trouble with lefties, the home dog looks palpable today and I hate betting against the Sox

Kansas City +136- Minny is on a bad run here, no reason for Bonser to be that big a number today. More of a play against Minny than anything else.

Tex-Cleveland UNDER 10 -105- Both pitchers have done their jobs this year, total seems high to us.

Anyone know the RL & ML on the BoSox today?Firewalls :lmao:
Red Sox usually have trouble with lefties and Loewen is going to be a good one. IMO Baltimore is the play here.Red Sox ML is -149 at Bet Jam, Run Line is -1.5 -105
I hear you but the Red Sox own the O'sI also think that with all the attention on Dice K and to a lesser degree Schilling, Josh Beckett is quietly going to put together a better year than both of themThat being said the game may be rained out tonight anyways

ALSO, IT IS POURING IN CLEVELAND. I have doubts they get this game in.
Thanks to AB's keen eyesight, a bug displaying the streaks was discovered, which has now been corrected. As the "Caveat" link says, this page can go out of whack if my sources change their format, which is what happened in this case. Please let me know if you notice things going loco with the page.Since there's not a full card today (either that, or games have already started and thus don't appear on the page), I wasn't able to test the correction having all teams listed. If someone would be so kind, please take a look at the page tomorrow (Friday) morning and make sure all teams are present and have a streak listed. I'll be out of town Friday, returning Saturday night.

####### right!!!

Nice

Picked the wrong day to go Under a Tex/Cle matchup.

not sure there will ever be a right day when these two teams meet. Clevelands line up vs. that woeful pitching staff is just a disaster.

I'm done embarassing myself trying to pick winners at this baseball game!

GL Gentlemen, hope you all win every bet!

Question for SLBD or any other SoCal fan...

The game tonight between Padres/Dodgers opened as LAD -107. It is now LAD +100. I like the Dodgers Hendrickson to outpitch Hensley and have considered this play later, but what's the best guess for the line moving the Padre's direction?

Dodgers are cold would be my guess. Last night was a perfect example. Early on they should have blown the game wide open but they choked. It is a new day and all but I won't be playing it.Oh, and the Padres have the Dodgers number. I don't know what it is but they definitely occupy space in the collective cranium of the Los Doyers. ####ers.

Call me :) but today is the day

Bomber's face a pitcher that typically gives them fits but today the bats come alive across the board

:D

SteelNation - I am a diehard NYY fan and I just don't see it, but I'll be pulling for you.

After an day off yesterday - I could not narrow down the card, I had 12 plays I liked yesterday, would have gone 8-4, but I was not crazy confident in any of them, got insanely busy at work etc. and just passed the day. For today:

FLA +108: riding the D-Train

ATL -120: I think Smoltz rebounds after his last time out

TEX/TOR O 9.5 -110: I see a typical AL slugfest

LAA +118: This is a chase play

Slew of plays tonight, let's beat the book here...

Florida Marlins +110

Milwaukee Brewers -105

Atlanta Braves -123

Baltimore Orioles +121

Los Angeles Angels/Chicago White Sox over 9 -105

Kansas City Royals/Seattle Mariners over 9 -105
