Dear Baltimore Bullpen.Go #### yourselves in the ear. Go #### yourselves and then stand out in front of the subway. Go #### yourselves and eat a tainted ham sandwich. Go #### yourselves and stick your fat ####### ugly faces in the urinal. 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th, nobody on and you have a 1 run lead. Way to hunker down and close that one out. The San Francisco Giants Bullpen thinks you suck. Mitch Williams thinks you have control problems. You mother ####### bunch of Hemorrhoids have robbed money from me for the last mother ####### time. Any of you cashing a paycheck is beyond criminal. May you all - ALL - get demoted to the minors in some ####ty state like Iowa or France.#### you.

Those guys are young. Hell, when I was their age I was out till 4:00 a.m and then at work by 9:00 the next day. Granted I didn't have 90mph fastballs wizzing by me.....but last I checked Atlanta is running Buddy Carlyle out there today.Take a look at Atlanta today...Miguel Cabrera and Hanley Ramirez were out til well after 4 am at the Peachtree in Atlanta last night. Rough when you got a double header the next day. There is one problem though... Mitre vs. a POS in the early game...Just something to consider.
This one looks solid to me.CWS -117: The NYY are running out Clippard, the CWS run out Buehrle. Enough said. I also lean to the over in this tilt.
Are you kidding? THOSE are precisely the kind of guys I want to back! Aggressive, tireless, hard hitting.Give me Mitre or give me death.Took the Braves (+104) in game 1 for some action only.Heard a rumor that a couple of the Marlins players were out real late drinking mojitos and chasing tail.![]()
It's shocking how the Yankees continue to be overrated, isn't it? They were nearly a pick last night with DeSalvo vs Garland in Chicago...WTF?This one looks solid to me.CWS -117: The NYY are running out Clippard, the CWS run out Buehrle. Enough said. I also lean to the over in this tilt.
Not sure if you've heard, but their bullpen is a mess. May want to check with your compadre.I did just make a play on the Seattle/Baltimore game....o9Seattle is on fire. Burress has pitched well for the O's so far...but I think he's been doing it with smoke and mirrors, as he has an ERA just about 3.00, but a WHIP over 1.50...and he only goes about 5 innings per start, after which, yep that O's bullpen comes into play. Baek is not a world beater either, so I'm just taking the over here.As much as it pains me, Baltimore looks like a good play again. +131 vs Baek? Gonna need to have a short memory here because this looks like a play that should be made.

LOL, I know very well the state of the Balto bullpen. I've been through the war with them. Im really trying to have a short memory here.Burres has only had 5 starts this year, the first two were atrocious, the last 3 have been good. The first two were against Boston and Cleveland so his WHIP is skewed a little bit by those first two bad starts.Baek's recent form is even more shaky so I think that might be a little more relavent. Just no way the guy should be -141 here. And if I thought Balto was a good bet against King Felix last night at a shorter number than I can't be afraid to go back with them at better value. Their bullpen is not going to blow every game. Seattle's current form for bullpen is not great either and they have been getting pretty taxed lately too, their starters have not been carrying the load very far either.Over might be a decent play too but I think I still like the Orioles. Not sure if you've heard, but their bullpen is a mess. I'm going to the doctor.Ah yes... those two guys wer 0-6....Regardless of how young they are.... if they're rippin' em back they're judgment has got to be off... going to work at 9am after being out til 4am is totally different for the standard job - you could be completely unproductive...Took the Braves (+104) in game 1 for some action only.Heard a rumor that a couple of the Marlins players were out real late drinking mojitos and chasing tail.![]()
RR, if you happen to get the inclination, can you please elaborate on this? I had asked in another thread if anyone knew of any sites to get accurate bullpen numbers, but no one answered....I'd really be interested if you knew. The reason I asked, is (and I don't have numbers in front of me right now) I believe Colorado's bullpen has the highest ERA in the majors. I also believe that the Astros bullpen has been relatively serviceable, especially over the past month or so....since Lidge got moved to 7th inning duty.Colorado -127 -- chalk favorite of the night for me. Rodriquez is god awful on the road and the Rockies hit lefties pretty well. Big bullpen edge + home advantage. I like Hirsh to bounce back a bit (really bad bad last outing) - this is his former team he gets to face as well.
Covers.com has bullpen numbers in the game matchups, are they not accurate?Colorado 128.0 IP 1.38 WHIP 4.29 ERA.RR, if you happen to get the inclination, can you please elaborate on this? I happen to agree with you on Colorado, as fading the Stros on the road is always a good idea, was just hoping you could lend some help![]()

The syndicate is going through an RR addiction right now. Im fine with Texas GM, I certainly wasn't married to SF, that was your play anyway. The Syndicate unleashes its Sorta Successful, Yet To Be Determined Frequency, Cosjobs Special....
ROUND ROBIN PARLAY OF THE NIGHT!!!!
now with 20% more taste
This isn't exactly what I told JTC we'd play, so I'm hoping I just didn't cause the world's biggest breakup since the unexplicable dissolvement of Soundgarden (come on...it's not like a bandmember died. They were so goooood) with my Maverickness.
Here we go.
RR Parlay by 2's, 3's, 4's
Philadelphia Phillies +152 for Game
Los Angeles Dodgers +143 for Game
Texas Rangers +137 for Game
Baltimore Orioles +139 for Game
We had San Fran in there instead of Texas, but I really can't trust Cain right now and I've been riding the Snakes on this gorgeous recent run. Johnson has been extremely good to me. Add that to the bullpen factor and I just can't play Cain, no matter what.
I do think Texas has a shot at home against Robertson, who has been garbage of late. That bullpen isn't too great either. The scrub on the mound for the Rangers is no better, no worse than any other scrub they roll out there.
Love the Dodgers tonight and will loby JTC to press on this one if and only if the others look good.
The Orioles game is not a misprint. I'm over the anger. It's good value.
Single Plays - Risking a Unit:
White Sox -127
Red Sox RL -105
Atlanta RL -125
Over 8 -130 Pitt/Wash
Had the Rockies set to go, but I got cold feet. Hirsch has been an absolute nightmare since Aug 22. I can't back him. I don't care how awful the Astros are, I juse can't back Hirsch. And Guru is correct. The Colorado BP has some big time flaws getting to the closer.
Red Sox should dominate tonight.
White Sox should win.
Atlanta is clearly the better team right now and I'll take a shot on them to lay into Vander Hulk.
Low total in the Pitt/Wash game. Hate the -130, but this moved from 8.5 to 8 before I could act and then the juice went north in a hurry.
Sorry, I was going by recent BP stretch - last 5 or so I think was the numberThat's goodCovers.com has bullpen numbers in the game matchups, are they not accurate?Colorado 128.0 IP 1.38 WHIP 4.29 ERA.RR, if you happen to get the inclination, can you please elaborate on this? I'm not sure if it gives you actual team totals for the year though, or just who's in there now.
Jesus Tampa Bay. :whew: Managed to slip in with the cover there. Nice 6 run 9th for the Jays.Looking for a Colorado comeback here late to go up on the night.Tonight's four pack:Tampa Bay +1.5 +105 -- I like under in this game but bodog is dealing u8.5 -125 - uh no thanks to that vig but we will play the +1.5 with the lower total angle. Especially at plus vig with this fresh starter for the Rays (another nice angle with Sonnanstine's debut).KC/Cleveland o9 -110 -- Wouldn't be surprised to see Cleveland get all 9 here. They crush lefties and especially score at home. Sabathia brings this total down but I can see KC getting 3 here to help push this over.Chc/Mil o9 +100 -- wanted 8.5 badly on this one but I have to take what I can get. I'm fading both starters at this point and like the Brewers vs. lefties. Their main problem is abysmal hitting with RISP (see last night). Lets hope all those baserunners translates to an over.Colorado -127 -- chalk favorite of the night for me. Rodriquez is god awful on the road and the Rockies hit lefties pretty well. Big bullpen edge + home advantage. I like Hirsh to bounce back a bit (really bad bad last outing) - this is his former team he gets to face as well.
Classic.Funniest thing I've heard in a while...Conversation with GM while he is home alone babysitting the kids, I believe both are under 4.Me: Are you ready to put our biggest bet of the season on the Red Sox tonight?GM to me: YepGM to Kids: You just gotta put your balls out there sometimes. You hear that kids? You just gotta put your balls out there.

Good info here
Love the Dodgers tonight and will loby JTC to press on this one if and only if the others look good.
Anyway, that was fun.I look for the Red Sox and Braves to bounce back big todayI also think the Cubs continue their winning ways

You guys need to get up and dust yourselves offI think we all got rocked last nightWe will see you in a few days once we get our heads on straight. I got nothing left to add until I start seeing it again.

Took the Braves (+104) in game 1 for some action only.Heard a rumor that a couple of the Marlins players were out real late drinking mojitos and chasing tail.![]()

Another small play for tonight..Houston @ Colorado o10Houston had an off day yesterday and I just have to believe this offense is going to kick it into gear one of these days. Wandy Rodriguez is a pretty hittable left and Jason Hirsh had a nice start to the year, but last three starts has an ERA around 9.00. I think this one has the makings of a 7-6 game.g'luck
Broke out down a few pennies last night on posted plays. However, I got home last night and remember that my cable got cut by my pool guys
So, I'm like WTF, no tv tonight? I pop in a Blues Clues DVD for my one year old and start playing a little poker. And then I'm like, ahhh, who am I kidding, both my bets are on late games, let me throw down a small, crazy $25 parlay on some early games just for the #### of it.Cleveland u9/Pitt/Milkwaukee/Toronto o9.5 and whaddya know
I think this is the first 4 team parlay I've played all year....I usually will throw down a three teamer every few weeks and of course a two team RL parlay at least 1-2x per week. Anyway, that made my night. No cable again tonight....but plenty of beer in the fridge

I'll post my ridiculous one tonightSo the theme of the night was to lose on all posted plays and then hit ridiculous parlays...How does that help your fellow degenerates?![]()

I was going to too last night, but I had to rush to get it in...and the Brewers line kept changing on me! Then my daughter needed a diaper change, and well next thing you know, games had already started. This is the first four-teamer I've played all year, never thought I had a prayer.Later that night..."Daddy, why did you just kick the dog?"Jefferson the Caregiver said:Funniest thing I've heard in a while...Conversation with GM while he is home alone babysitting the kids, I believe both are under 4.Me: Are you ready to put our biggest bet of the season on the Red Sox tonight?GM to me: YepGM to Kids: You just gotta put your balls out there sometimes. is the WNBA still around?
I'm not kidding when I say I stirred in bed last night thinking the Lady Vols have really been the better team here, and should offer nice value in this final game, if I could only find a line...
