I know, I'll throw a competition that is meant to be more difficult with two people by allowing him to do it solo. brilliant.
I'm not sure the producers knew that it'd be easier solo. It probably never occurred to them to test it that way.

Said to my son before the comp..."How will the producers make this throw proof or make it so one person can win it by themselves."

Then I see the comp and think...maybe, but it'd be impossible to win if Caleb throws it...then he says he's not going to participate. Damn...they did it again.

One person will beat two at that comp almost every time.

It's so damned blatant...

Yeh, that was pretty bad. In hindsight, Caleb could have threw it better by participating and whiffing on it, but when you get Beast Mode Cowboy, you have to live with things like this.

Frankie's reaction to winning was, well, pretty gosh darn fruity.

Caleb wanted to get back to playing in the challenge but they wouldn't let him.
figures. I wonder if the producers would have let him play, knowing he was going to throw it, had he done it subtly like he should have all along.

I'd be pissed if I were one of those guys that Caleb told that he'd throw the comp...especially if I'm Zack.

No freaking way is THAT...throwing the comp. Just sitting out? You gave Frankie the win with that nonsense. You did the complete opposite of what you were supposed to do.

They got to practice? That's dumb.
Did he get to practice solo? That's even worse.

So every time they do things like putting or sling shotting a ball, they get to practice?
I think MileHigh was talking about the prize Frankie, Caleb, and Christine got for winning the comp. They kinda glossed over it on the show, but it had something to do with meeting NFL players, maybe going to their NFL practice?

After re-reading that post...yes that's what it sounds like. Thanks.

Started a thread about a new reality show some of you Big Brother fans may like because it was created by one of the BB producers and it's called Utopia.Looks promising.

http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=710727
Do you work on the show? You seem really invested.
No but I would love to do it.Just been hearing a ton of buzz and thought others may like to watch it.This is right down your alley,HF!
Oh, my DVR was already set. I love The Colony.

Well then,I fully expect your input on this one then.It does look like it has some potential to be really good.

They really need to take the opportunity this week to backdoor Zach. Frankie just gets more and more annoying by the week. Christine with the whole diary room talk of how going up on the block and throwing it is taking one for the team etc. when she's been carried by them so far.

My son and I are starting to lose interest...

There's just way too much manipulation in this show. Caleb "throwing it" by giving Frankie every advantage and now Donnie getting the black box challenge seemed too easy to do dirty work by the production team. You've got three people in that box working together and Donnie still wins? I'm sure it could happen...definitely...but it just feels dirty.

And how on Earth does anyone allow Cody to slink by every week while not putting in any work?

The way this house flips and turns back and forth...it just feels way to scripted.

Watching shows like this must suck for those of you that think everything is rigged or manipulated. I thought the black box was actually the worst competition for Donny at the time. It just so happens that everytime Christine gave Caleb a bone, it didn't fit. Do you think the producers opened a back door and kept handing her bad bones? I would think Donny loses this competition 8 out of 10 times. Caleb and Cody probably put 10 bones up to Donny's 5, but all of his fit.

I do think that black box comp was fair, but am also pretty sure the game as a whole is manipulated by production. (Caleb did say to Zach after the comp that production made him give back the bones Christine was handing him. Whether that's true or not, we'll obviously never know. We also heard production cheered Donny on and cheered his victory at this comp. Not exactly unbiased, again if true. We'll never know.)

There are the DR sessions, HGs in this season and past have admitted being swayed towards certain decisions or given hints about things in the house they shouldn't know about. Victoria talked about how production was asking her questions about Ariana Grande a week or so before Frankie made his reveal. It didn't make sense to her at the time why they'd be asking her about Ariana, arbitrary as far as she knew.If she had an ounce of intuition she would have linked these questions to Frankie "Team Grande", he's told her his sister's name is Ari and she knows that Frankie knows even the most obscure Ariana Grande songs. Nobody else in the spoiler thread thinks she should have caught on, and they're probably right, but I think she at least should have had suspicions.

And then the random events like diamond POV or pandora's box. Nobody knows if or when these will appear, we're just told to expect the unexpected. Maybe production does have it all mapped out before the season starts, but they make it real easy to believe that they're waiting until its conducive to what direction they want the show to go in.

All they had to do was scatter about 30 "x" shaped bones around and only 4 "o" shaped bones and Donny wins 100% of the time.

How would production tell Caleb that he had to give them back? Wouldn't Donnie hear this conversation?

I believe anything is possible with this show now...no amount of manipulation is below them. If they can rig something to drop paint on Derrick when he comes through...then there's absolutely no reason why they couldn't see Donnie about to put his hands in a trashcan and hit a button and it slides a good bone up so he can find it.

CJW - Just look at what you wrote...they put up like 10...and Donnie put up five...and nailed them all. You honestly think that's all that probable? Three people looking for these things against Donnie...and he finds all the good ones? Just like Christine said, "Donnie can't see what she's doing." Same can be said of production...no one can see how they manipulated that comp.

I know it sounds a bit too "the moon landing was faked"...but if you're an avid watcher of this show, BBAD and the live feeds over the years...you'd know just how much production manipulates this "competition".

I don't have a good answer to this without sounding too much like tinfoil hat guy, but we do know that the host of the comps wears an earpiece and has production in their ear giving them instruction, so maybe the competitors also had their own earpieces getting their own instruction and what not. Or maybe when he took the bone production simply stopped the comp and said Caleb, stop that, and then resumed.

I don't want to believe production manipulates the comps themselves as they're happening, and I don't really. This is more my bitterness that us live feeders don't get to watch the competitions live and, while the feeds are blocked and the comps are going on, I start to wonder why we aren't allowed to watch them. We do get to watch the HOH comps as they happen, and those are the most important, so I can't complain too much.

I guess I assumed that the two boards were the same. They looked the same to me. I assumed the bones with the Xs on them wouldn't work in either board. In any case, I watch the show and enjoy it and don't care to sit and question everything the producers might have done to manipulate the game. If you believe they do that, I don't how or why you would watch the show.

Ah, now I get what you're saying. And you do have a valid point.

For me, I'm primarily a live feed watcher, cause I like to people watch, and honestly I don't care who wins. I'd like to see the person I think is playing the best game win, but I won't mind if they are evicted next week. I watch the TV show solely to see the Diary Room sessions (or Thursday to watch the HOH comp), because we don't see them on the feeds, and it's really the only time you can 100% trust what the HGs are saying. Survivor is pretty similar to Big Brother, but I have no interest in watching that. The upcoming show Utopia will have live feeds, so I will be following that.

Along the same lines as you, earlier in this thread I wondered why people would watch the show but not the live feeds, as the reality of the house gets skewed by the edit. It can be a big time commitment to try to keep up with the feeds, so that's the reason I'll assume. But I don't want to spoil the show more than I already have for the non-feeders, so I'll stop there.

You sure seem to spend a lot of time on something that you know is rigged. (not you in particular actually, just seems like a lot of hardcore BB fans devote many hours each year knowing that the game is manipulated, only to complain about this fact and get themselves into a tizzy. )

I'm not complaining, being rigged isn't going to stop me from watching, I tried to convey that by saying I don't care who wins but guess I missed. It'd be nice to believe this game was natural and influenced only by the game players, but I will still enjoy the show regardless, because I don't watch it as much for the game as I do to learn about people in general. It's more a psychological experiment to me.

If you meant it more as a blanket statement and not necessarily aimed at me, which I think you did, then I would agree with you. But I will tell you, there is a breed of BB watcher much worse in my opinion than those criticising the game for being rigged, and I absolutely loathe them. It's the people who bash the HGs moral character and integrity while playing this game. There are times when they deserve it (Aaryn's racial profiling last year) but stuff like "I hate Derrick, he's such a liar" "Andy is such a rat" that sort of thing is absolutely rediculous to me. I'm glad it doesn't happen much if at all on these forums, really it's the reason I chat about the game on these forums rather than the BB dedicated forums. Some people can't seperate Derrick the BB game player who's trying to win $500k from Derrick the family oriented police officer from Rhode Island.

Donny just told Cody the same thing Caleb told Zach. He gave Christine a bone, Christine handed it to Caleb, production told Caleb to give it back to Christine, and that was the moment Donny knew Christine was throwing the comp.

I was thinking of a different kind of fan in my comment. All good here.

Two knuckle heads have a conversation and both agree that Derrick would easily win the whole thing if he gets to the final two. One of these knuckle heads the opportunity to make a huge move and backdoor Derrick and what does said knuckle head do? Nominate the guy that everyone has a problem with? :goodmove:

Derrick is running circles around this entire house with his social game it's not even funny anymore. He is on nobody's radar to go up,he has numerous alliances that have his back that nobody has caught onto yet and really isn't that good in comps and is vulnerable to be taken out.The entire house has been scared to make any bold moves so I guess they view getting Nicole out and now Zach(if he is gone)as the major game moves to this point.

This season has been one big joke for me that can't end soon enough.
