Official - Big Game In My League This Week Thread (2 Viewers)

"Don't grumble, give a whistle!"
Back at our auction draft most of us "veterans" took glee :) in watching the new guy in our league do what so many noobies had done before him in years past- play the homer card and bid on player after player from his favorite team.

Funny thing is that "Noobie" hails from Boston. Hindsight being what it is, drafting Maroney, Moss, Welker, Watson and the Pat's D wasn't such a bone headed move after all. Without drafting Brady, Noobie matched his home team win for win though week 8, with "over-the-hill" Favre leading the way.

:banned:

Not so funny. Noobie did manage to lose a couple of games- three to be exact -and as luck would have it, I am squaring off against him this the final week of the season. With identical 9-3 records, the winner takes the division title and gets the first round bye. After a sub par Sunday with all my players- save my sole Pat Gostkowski- done and holding a 44 point lead going into MNF- thanks to Favres -2 this week!- I have to watch as Maroney, Moss, Welker, Watson and the Pat's D take on the Ravens.

What are the chances those Ravens pull off the stunner upset of the year? Or just make it close?

What's your last game of the regular season story?

:goodposting:

Edited - I know this is a big week for fantasy leagues. We don't normally do league stuff in the Shark Pool but keep it to just this thread and it's cool. Good luck.

Edited after Joe to fit that "what's your story this week" theme a little closer... :bag:

Up until now they likely didn't know how much it meant to your fantasy team. Hopefully at least one of them reads these forums though. :excited:

Moss/Welker/Watson are good for 22/275/2.5TDs as a min. Add another 20 or so from Maroney/Pats D and you're done.Sadly, I only have Welker, Stallworth, Maroney, Faulk and Gostkowski, as Brady went at 3.03, Moss in the 5th, and Pats D in the 7th.

If it's a PPR league enjoy the offseason. If it's not a PPR league enjoy the offseason.
.5/ppr and I've clinched a playoff berth, just not the first week bye, but thanks anyway. :P

:no:The score will be 42 - 0 with 3 minutes left in the first half and Brady will have 6 TD passes. 3 to Moss, 1 to Welker, 1 to Faulk, and 1 to Watson.
