Yeah, I can't really figure out what Wiz was thinking. Usually a big lead = running game/clock control. I expected Sankey to be out there grinding it out the rest of the game. Never happened.Wiz can't get out of Wiz's way right now. I don't think you can pin this on Sankey. They inexplicably abandoned the run and didn't incorporate Delanie for the majority of the game. A complete mess of a team and so you have to bench the Sank going forward until it's figured out IF it ever happens.
There was never a better situation for him to get carries and at the time "garbage points" because they had this game wrapped up. A total coaching collapse. Problem is, you seriously can't trust anything that happens going forward.Yeah, I can't really figure out what Wiz was thinking. Usually a big lead = running game/clock control. I'm optimistic because I read a report that he'll be watching 'Singing in the Rain' all week after practice. The Titans lost because Sankey's footwork wasn't good enough. Good time to buy low, or look for him to be dropped.
Browns knew that play was coming. There's several like that in each Whisenhunt game, drives me nuts. Great effort and little scoot to get back to the LOS but they were all over that oneBishop Sankey with the shiftiness. http://gfycat.com/ImpeccablePleasingBluefintuna
I think I'm in. It's him or Asiata or maybe Moreno. Yes, I went the zero RB draft route.I have no choice but to roll the dice with Sankey this week. Maybe a date with Jax is all he needs to have that breakout performance. Anyone else rolling with him this week?
I too have no choice. I have Charles on bye, R. Jennings is hurt and missed out on waiver claims on Oliver/Hillman.I have no choice but to roll the dice with Sankey this week. Maybe a date with Jax is all he needs to have that breakout performance. Anyone else rolling with him this week?
Nice to have that option. my big money league, nobody is trading for crap. :( And I screwed up by drafting CKnoK. I have to start Stankey above Johnson. My life sucks.Just traded him and TRich for Ryan Mathews. Off both trains now. Good luck guys.
"Fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. Fool me... You can't get fooled again!" -George W. Bush~ 20 touches maybe for Sankey vs Jax ??? One time!
Shonn Greene (hamstring) was downgraded to "DNP" on Thursday, and is "uncertain" for Week 6.
It's sounding like Greene will be unavailable against the Jaguars, leaving rookie Bishop Sankey as the Titans' lead back. That's not for certain, however. The Titans adore their plodding "lead" back, and could give him the green light for Week 6 if he looks good on Friday. Sankey owners need to sit tight, but remain cautiously optimistic
All aboard! :fartfart:All aboard the Sankey trainey?
Week 6 is the week Murray broke out after Felix Jones got hurt.~ 20 touches maybe for Sankey vs Jax ??? One time!

final straw 5 games into his career? This is the "final straw" week for Sankey as far as I'm concerned.
All signs are in his favor... backup QB under center, aging RB likely out, bad rush D.
If he doesn't get 20ish touches - and convert into 100+ total yards - this guy may be a bust. This coming from a supporter of his (albeit not to Brewtown levels).
That all said, I'm benching him in favor of Forte, Tate and AWilliams this week.... just think they have a higher floor with similar upside in standard formats.
I think what he means is that we are already 40%ish into the FF schedule and Sankey is either being limited by his coach or is just plain limited. How many weeks will you allow your lineup to be deficient by his lack of production either way? At some point, you have to go in another direction by benching outright or cutting him to allow for someone else with upside to at least allow for some optimism.ILUVBEER99 said:final straw 5 games into his career?nirad3 said:This is the "final straw" week for Sankey as far as I'm concerned.

I'm with nirad3, and I don't think it is a slam on Sankey so much as it is on Wisenhunt. The whole situation reminds me of Arians and Ellington last year. Wisenhunt not committing to Sankey this week especially if Greene is out only solidifies it.ILUVBEER99 said:final straw 5 games into his career?nirad3 said:This is the "final straw" week for Sankey as far as I'm concerned.

Titans.com's Joe Fann expects Bishop Sankey to "assume a majority of carries" with Shonn Greene (hamstring, doubtful) not expected to play in Week 6.
Fann also expects the Titans to use "plenty of" passing-down back Dexter McCluster. To this point, second-round pick Sankey has not handled more than ten carries in any of the 1-4 Titans' first five games, despite averaging 4.69 YPC. We suspect he will land in the range of 12-17 carries against the Jaguars.

Man, I started "Skankey" last week and got burned. This week, I have a slot available for him vs. Alfred Morris. I don't like Morris vs. a stingy Cardinals defense. But if Cards are down to Logan Thomas, could that be a game where they slog it out with Redskins staying in the game and giving Morris 20+ carries for a change. I'd like to believe in Sankey this week but am scared...Faust said:Rotoworld:
