I couldn't use today's 15% discount code after midnight last night, so decided to wait until today. Now the site is down due to high traffic. What a joke.

 
discountmags.com is running a good deal. I just got a one year subscription to ESPN, Golf Digest and Wired all for $12 and each comes with a digital subscription as well. I did the bundle option but I think you can get each at $4 for the year.

Had a friend on FB who had some items saved her in cart on Target.com. Went back today, and they were $2 more than yesterday, which negates the 15% off everything online.

 
the fire 7" tablet is $49.99

is that the normal price? I remember when this first came out it was $150?

 
Target is a really poor online retailer.

Compound it with the credit card data breach they had and it's no wonder they're hurting overall.

 
Any better deals for a basic laptop than ASUS F555LA-AB31 15.6-inch Full-HD Laptop (Core i3, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD) with Windows 10 for $330?

We have an older ASUS we like but with 4 kids doing homework, we need another computer. 500GB should suffice for us. We're not gamers or even really use the computer much outside of homework and a few minor applications like office.

Edit: The Fire tablet is actually a very good deal if you are in the market.

I need a laptop for my wife. Mainly doing internet stuff and iTunes/music storage. What can I get for less than $200?

The Fire is different from the Fire HD. The Fire HD has better specs all around and is $100+.

The normal price for the Fire is $50. That's still a great value, but it's not as fast and the screen isn't as nice as the Fire HD.

 
What is the preferred tablet by people and how does the Amazon Fire stack up against it?

What's the best surround sound system to consider? Sound bars preferred....

Best Buy has a few for under $300. In the 250ish range. I got the one for 259.99.

What is a Lenovo Ideabook? She's looking at getting one for our daughter - think it's $179. That's all the details I have right now but wanting to see if anybody knows anything before she buys something that is crap.

They should be embarrassed. My wife bought an ipod touch earlier, had to select free store pickup because shipping wasn't available. Was able to get the sale price, plus the 15% off. She got an email hours later saying the order was no longer valid because they were out of stock at that particular store. So now it's too late to select it from another store, because stock is low everywhere.

 
What is a decent tablet for a 10 year old?

I don't want a fire because I already have apps on my asus 7.

She uses that now but it's starting to age. Looking for a 9 to 10 inch and relative cheap. She's not getting a galaxy or iPad

The preferred tablet is the iPad. Whether you want to spend that kind of money, I don't know. I have seen $100-$125 off iPad Air (two generations old now). Not sure how the Fire compares. Probably plenty of online comparison reviews.

My wife tried to get a few transformer toys at Target & they were both sold out. Ended up getting them at Amazon.

I don't know. Amazon knocked an additional $100 off the desktop I wanted, making it $650. I'm no good at linking from my phone, but it's the HP Envy 750-140.
