I can't remember if it was a "specifically BF" deal...but I remember getting a sweet deal on my 7 a few years back right around BFdo they ever give BF discounts on iPhones?
Wife and I are both due
Good reminder that I'm due for a new electric razor. What's the recommendation these days?I'll be watching the Wirecutter deals.
- Car Alexa device
- Electric razor
- USB charging plug
- USB battery
- Fitness tracker for the wife
Most deals tend to be for the newer iphones and getting gift cards from places like Wal Mart, Sams, Target, Best Buy. I know I got 250 from Target when I got my 7. Pain in the ### waiting in line though. Sams apparently ran the same thing about a week before.do they ever give BF discounts on iPhones?

The Verizon deal required the addition of a new line onto your account. So, you could get the phone for "free", but then you were on the hook for paying for an additional line. Doing the math, paying for the new line that no one needed or wanted would have been about $250 cheaper than the price of the phone. So, yes, there was a discount, but not as great as it first seemed. If you are actually in need of another line anyway, then it becomes a great deal. Most deals tend to be for the newer iphones and getting gift cards from places like Wal Mart, Sams, Target, Best Buy. Seems phone companies are running damn good sales now on the XR. We just switched to ATT...I got the XS and wife got the XR basically free ($700 credit). Verizon was running the same type of deal (XR free when another XR or higher was purchased on their installment plans).
Ahh...sorry, we were switching from another carrier...so that would have made the deal better for us than current for sure. The Verizon deal required the addition of a new line onto your account. I am in the same boat. I am looking for new Apple I watch exclusively.Hawkeye21 said:I'm hoping to find a great deal on an Apple Watch or some other kind of good smart watch.

Good luck. Probably the best offers will be the console bundled with a game for $300.00. Target will have the Switch bundled with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $300.Looking for a good deal on Nintendo Switch for my almost 9 year old boy. He's been rocking a vintage Wii for a couple of years now. Tablets, like the Kindle, are mostly junk. He likes playing games on my old Android phone. I'd rather him not ruin his eyes just yet and have some fun with games from the current century.
And, there is no way to swindle a different game as Mario Kart is a digital download. The code is probably in the box similar to other game bundles for the Switch.Good luck. OLED is unbelievable. Not a lot broadcast in 4K to take full advantage of it, but I can tell a difference.Looking at the TV ads. Is there a difference between LED and OLED? Or is it just fancy terminology to jack up prices on some brands? Any super deals on 65" 4K TVs? Best Buy has $500 off on this right now.

Yea, amazing to me how thin those things are! Found a good article on LED vs OLED vs QLED. So seems like the one I linked may be a good deal if you want QLED.OLED vs LED highlights
OLED panels are extremely thin and require no backlight. As such, OLED TV’s tend to weigh less than LED/LCD TVs and are considerably thinner. They also require less power, making them more efficient.
Agreed the colors are so freaking crazy good.OLED is unbelievable. Not a lot broadcast in 4K to take full advantage of it, but I can tell a difference.
No actual data to back that up just going off my eyes
Brightness is really it depending on what plasma you have. If you go with LED/LCD/QLED they are all going to be brighter but have worse blacks, color accuracy and viewing angles will be much narrower. OLED is the new plasma, the best picture period. It will cost you though.Mario Kart said:I'm still rocking an awesome plasma tv. Has a little burn in from video games but it can, really, only be seen when the screen is dark. What am I missing with these new tvs?
Ditto. Its"only" a 55", but every time i look at new TV's i always think mine is better.Mario Kart said:I'm still rocking an awesome plasma tv. Has a little burn in from video games but it can, really, only be seen when the screen is dark. What am I missing with these new tvs?
Stitched to double edge safety razor and ill never use electric again.https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-electric-razor/
Buddy bought the second-choice model and is very happy with it. It was only second choice because it was more expensive for frivolous features, but he got it on a sale that made it less expensive than the top model.
This is what I have now. Panasonic. Happy with it. I'm really looking for a bigger TV for the game room, mostly because the current one is getting to small for my rapidly deteriorating eyesight. I'll only need like a 43 inch there.Ditto. Its"only" a 55", but every time i look at new TV's i always think mine is better.

I have a Panasonic plasma and really like the picture as well. I have no desire to replace it until it dies. This is what I have now. Panasonic. Happy with it. ChromebookI need a laptop that can get on pornhub, reddit, and maybe stream some stuff from time to time. TIA
I had to look those programs up you mentioned. They are RAM hogs, you need at least 32gb of RAM minimum. That is $$$$.I need a laptop that can get on pornhub, reddit, and maybe stream some stuff from time to time. TIA
This. I haven't used an electric since college, in fact. I've been using a DE razor for close to a decade and get a terrific shave every time.Stitched to double edge safety razor and ill never use electric again.

I haven't used an electric razor for 15 years, but I just switched back today - got the Braun 7 at Costco.This. I haven't used an electric since college, in fact. I've been using a DE razor for close to a decade and get a terrific shave every time.
Are electrics really easier?I haven't used an electric razor for 15 years, but I just switched back today - got the Braun 7 at Costco.
They've improved a ton since the old days, I was impressed - it gave a great shave and was powerful and fast.
I'm kinda looking forward to the ease of shaving in the morning now.
For me it looks like it will be, but I fill the sink with water and rinse the blade in it a few times while I'm shaving. Are electrics really easier?
it takes like a minute using blade in shower.

That’s becuase Plasma IS better. It just was bulky pricy and power hungry, so cheap LCD and LED sets did the tech in.Ditto. Its"only" a 55", but every time i look at new TV's i always think mine is better.
What's the curved screen all about? I read about the different techs, but none of them really talked abut the curved screen. Seems that would really reduce the viewing angle?I just bought the Samsung q7c. Samsung has already released their BF prices. $1397 for the 55". Fantastic TV (I've been watching the price on this thing since it released...really good deal unless you're at a point I the year where you want to wait for next year's release).
I Like this Tv for the excellent game mode interface. Extremely low lag and it automatically detects game mode vs regular TV so no switching manually and finding the option buried in the menu. QLED is not OLED but it's impressive. Not perfect black but it makes up for it on the other "light" side.
The one connect box is very well thought out, covers everything anyone short of a picky professional would want and need, and future proofs the purchase a great deal.
Several nice, smart features baked in to this Tv.
DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 3300 or 3400. Easy to use, cost-effective, and IMO brews the best cup of espresso of all the SA's. The crema is spectacular. It will last about 7-8 years with reasonable care. I've had this machine for the last 15+ years.I would like to purchase a super automatic espresso maker. Anyone have one they would recommend? Jura? Delonghi?
Also a new tv for the bedroom, the ole plasma is on its last legs.
Once the 65 hits 2k I'll be replacing mine I think.Yeah, if you have a panasonic plasma, you will most likely be disappointed in anything you buy outside of OLED.
I have two and my wife keeps suggesting we get a "new" tv. My 60" ST60 in my basement still looks amazing.
Curved screen is a marketing scam and unnecessary. In movie theatres it helped focus the projector better on the edges of the screen but there is no projector in a regular tv.What's the curved screen all about? Yeah, I've been on the fence about that $1300 Samsung. Tough to pull the trigger on an OLED that is 2x the price, but if they stand the test of time like people's old plasmas that could be worth it...OLED vs LED highlightsLooking at the TV ads. I have the VT60 and will cry when it dies. I was able to DIY fix the death rattle and did back flips.Yeah, if you have a panasonic plasma, you will most likely be disappointed in anything you buy outside of OLED.

Thanks Ron, I have the 3300 in my amazon wishlist right now. Was hoping for an endorsement by someone that actually has one.DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 3300 or 3400.
