Soooo....Debbie Downer here...But...

Any real, peer reviewed research behind this?  Is there anything aside from anecdotal and/or shill?
Early innings, but my best guess is placebo and not much more.  Course the vitamin industry is a multi-billion dollar per annum business and that's just an expensive way to darken your pee.

Just CBD is legal here in AZ. I used the oil and bath bombs when I had some back pain a few months ago and I’ll take a cbd gummie before golf to relax my mind. Both uses seem to work to a moderate degree.

I just tried this stuff last night via gummies - 20 mg per the stoner guy working in the local CBD store.  To be honest, for me, I was just looking for a way to increase my level of relaxation when I need it.  Long story short, one of my favorite things to do when the family was out of town was pop 1 Vicodin, drink 1 beer, and just melt into the chair in the basement and watch Marvel movies on the projector.  My Vicodin were leftovers from my dental implant surgery and I'm all out now...I've been trying to find something that even comes close to that level of relaxation.  It's not an addiction thing at all...I'd do this maybe once every 2 months or so, but it was so awesome.

The CBD gummies had limited impacts from my perception.  Honestly I noticed it more this AM when I totally did not want to wake up.  I did sleep well, but I usually do.  Will try again this weekend and see if I can tell anything different.

i've got 3 pills left out of the 30 bottle of 10mg capsules.  it has been a wonder for me. i'm sleeping really well at night. wake up feeling refreshed. no soreness or pain.

my speculation is that it's a mild enough relaxer for my brain/body so that my muscles are not tense while sleeping. i'm a big fan

I used some CBD oil that other night that was for anxiety, and it certainly made things mellow and fuzzy. I had bought this about a year ago for my girlfriend, who was and is stressing big time because of her work. She said she barely felt anything besides dry mouth while sleeping. Me, not so much.

Have been taking Full Spectrum CBD Oil for about a month.  Was waking up about half way through the night with shoulder pain (tendinitis) enough that I couldn't get back to sleep unless I took 800 mg of ibuprofen but that took 30 minutes or so.  As soon as I started taking it - no pain in shoulder and slept hard/deep until morning.

Probably just Snake oil, but I'm happy and no pain.

i have only ever looked around briefly, but it seemed to me that there have maybe been 1 or 2 conditions for which clinical research showed an effect and the rest is more anecdotal.

So started taking 50mg once a day for about 3 weeks now for my Crohn's. Placebo or not, I have noticed small improvements in my day to day anxiety, stress & most importantly general Crohns symptoms. Enough so that I will continue taking it.

i'm going to keep being a shill for this stuff

2 months of sleeping without pain here. it's remarkable.

nothing about my daily or nightly routine is different except 10mg of cbd before bed

Read the Academy of Sciences article I linked. It’s a good summary of all Cannabinoids, not just CBD oil.

i gotta give this stuff a try.  i'm about as skeptical as it gets, so the placebo effect should be minimal.  we'll see.  gonna go 50/50

On the site you mentioned, what exactly did you buy? I'll definitely give this a shot if your sleeping improved that much.

I've been using it the last 10 days and I've gone from 6-6.5 hours to 7-8 hours of very restful, refreshing sleep.

It’s worth a shot. I find that it is mildly relaxing and it seems to help with back pain. Its helped me to reduce the booze.

It’s no miracle drug or anything.

Like so many things, there are some who are more sensitive to it than others. I've talked to a number of people who have received relief from various conditions from the use of CBD. It's not a wonder drug, and beware those who are making outrageous claims schilling various products just because their product contains CBD. Is it broad spectrum? Full spectrum? Does it contain isolate? All these things can change the effect it might have on you.

That being said, it does treat a large number of things very well. It's a far better alternative, if it gives you relief, than any of the pills the pharma companies are pushing.

recently, and for really no good reason i missed taking the CBD pills a handful of days in a row.

it was probably 4 days before i really noticed that i'd forgotten to take them and it only dawned on me one morning when i woke up and that same old back stiffness hit me like a hammer. so much ache. took me less time to shake it off than usual but i definitely noticed a difference.

thought maybe it was just coincidental.. let's test and see if i don't take the pills for a few more days.. do things go back to normal or am i going to wake up with back pain again?

so for about 2 weeks i didn't take the pills at all and my sleep went back to being irregular. my body ached like crazy when i woke up and over the course of the 2 weeks it took longer for me to wake up and shake loose the stiffness. even my elbow pain got worse.

so for the last 4-5 days i've gone back to the CBD pills and the last 3 days i'm sleeping better, waking up without ache and generally feel... more limber and loose.

Found this thread after I posted to the pot thread so I'll ask her as well lol. From my other post -

...Any experience or thoughts on nano CBD in general or Chong's in particular?  Ran across this Tommy Chong link one late night. Far more advertising than unbiased article, but I'm still curious if there is truth to his claims. Can't find too much on the net that doesn't look like an ad for nano cbd

I posted this in Offdee's sleep thread. But I was able to get a promo code from my friend who runs this business. She does an amazing job and Offdee has seen some nice results.
