Official Corey Coleman - WR - Patriots (1 Viewer)

Can Kessler air it out? I dont know anything about about him
Watching some of those highlights, CC can take the short pass/WR screen and shimmy past a guy to the endzone.

Here's the thing...if you have a SOLID SOLID SOLID guy, start him. If you are already behind the 8-ball because of Julio or Evans (FORDING EVANS) last night, I figure Coleman is a decent roll of the dice for big money.

Cooper might not play keep an eye on his status.

Tex
Cooper is most likely playing and Talib is out. Denver is still really good against WRs, but Benjamin had a TD last week even though he and Tyrell were gimpy (might miss this week). I think Cooper is still a safe play. I'm playing Coleman in the one league I have him and Cooper in another.

Kessler is very accurate.  He leads the NFL in first-half quarterback passer rating, higher than Brady.  He has exceptional ball placement but he lacks a big gun.

Coleman has been out since the opener so you have to expect rust.

I would imagine the Boys will run the ball and control the clock so it doesn't look like an ideal game script on top of anticipated rust and if Kessler continues to drop off in the second half of games.

That is ####### incredible. I hate silent films tho...
Agree with Ilov80's in that EVERYONE should see Buster Keaton's The General.  Truly one of the greatest movies of all time.  Showed it to my kids dos when they were 7 and 9 respectively and they loved it.  It's like 70 months Jutes long and has sev real scenes like the one in the gif that will leave you ou speechless or at least saying "#%*!, that's a real train he's doing that on/with.  Do yourself a favor and check it out.

I think Pryor is good for Coleman. Teams can't just focus their attention on 1 guy. To quote Pryor, "the future ain't what it used to be". Is this the most exciting young developing WR duo in football?

I think I'm going to start Coleman as my flex this week.  It's either him, Shepard, Duke Johnson or Yeldon.  I think Coleman has the most upside.

Disagree. Browns are going to be down quick which will result in lots of targets. Sure the Browns will run the ball half of the first quarter until they are down 14.

On game script.

I said the Boys will run to control the clock and I'm pretty sure that is what they will do so the opportunities for the Browns offense will be limited.  If/when the Browns fall behind they will be passing but the point is the Boys will be running to take time and opportunities from the Browns offense.

The other point is to expect rust.

Coleman looked great in minicamp and in training camp and in the first inter-squad practice but suffered a hamstring injury and missed the preseason.

In the opener, he was pressing and was rusty and made mistakes after a long layoff.

He settled down and busted out in the second game against Baltimore so if you look at how he has processed things to this point I think it is reasonable to expect some rust.

It could definitely be one of those games where almost every time you look Dallas has the ball.

On the other hand Coleman could get a couple big passes and a score or maybe get the garbage time.

I think Im going to start him over Hurns in half PPR....the couple ppl saying they are starting Coleman over ARob are asinine

locked and loaded as my flex. I think CLE passing game is being overlooked today. Dallas secondary is a mess, missing what, two starting DBs?

dallas likes to control the clock, 2nd in TOP, i get all that...but CLE will get possessions, and Pryor and Coleman should see 8-10 targets each. I suspect they'll have some success with them.

Time will tell.

Seemed like the smart play but looks like I should have started Shepard instead.  Oh well, Coleman can still be a lottery ticket for me.
stats don't tell the whole tale - the targets were there, but the chemistry was a little off. IMO that will improve. He was wide open in the 1st for a TD, Kessler didn't see him (I'm certain McCown woulda made that read)....then on the Pryor TD, Coleman was targeted for the TD on the play before but it was an incomplete pass.

The production will come. He's definitely flex-worthy moving forward IMO.

I'm not worried.  I know that Coleman is the better option overall.  Luckily with my roster right now I don't need to use either of them.

Good post. I definitely liked what I saw and think he will improve greatly as the chemistry gets better. I will most likely have him in my line up next week.

I picked him up a few weeks ago to fill a bye week opening for Wk 10.  Didn't realize it was a Thursday game, changed to rookie QB, and against an improving defense on the road..  I was a little more optimistic about this fill in a couple of weeks ago than I am today..

I own Coleman and I want to see more of him. I'm not convinced he's going to be as good as I thought.......

Any optimism out there for Coleman tonight? Assuming Pryor draws DB priority, there should be room for the rookie to get some good looks early on. Possible (probable?) game script points towards garbage time gold as well.

I'm swinging for the fences with him. Just wondering if anyone else's Spidey Sense is tingling.

I wish I could give you good news but I see a WR flashing but still learning the position. Then add that the QB isn't a very good match and let's just say I'm not hugely optimistic.

Stanger things have happened though so good luck!
