I did sell last week.  And then I bought on Wednesday.  And then I sold yesterday.  I have bought in and sold at least 30 times in the last 5 months.  Monday should be green with people hoping for a potentially stratospheric rise in stock price from the FDA safety review.

So it closed 4 cents under the open.  Day's high was 5.30.  Doesn't seem like the stat article and short activity had a colossal impact on the SP.  Didn't drive it down under 4 anyway.

The secondary endpoints are to see what else can be learned from the data being studied. For instance, in the critical/severe trial I think the primary endpoint is total mortality (very common for therapies where death is what you are trying to avoid). Secondary endpoints could be used to explore how the therapy may also benefit less-severe endpoints. For instance, with LL they may want to know does it help with usage of ventilators, time to discharge, etc. So you put the most important thing for the population (that will also demonstrate your therapy doing "what it is supposed to do") as the primary, then other benefits you want to explore as the secondary.

 
Do people expect Patterson to talk about data at all, or just generalities concerning the drug? I assume the latter.

Anesthesiologists are some of the smartest docs out there...mainly because pay is great, hours are good, and those things attract the top talent medical students for limited residency spots.

 
Always amazes me how different people view the same event. 

It all goes back to the results. 

After Polish Hammer cleared up the phases of trails, I'm not even worried about the statistical significance of the primary endpoint. If you actually read the trial setup (I suggest you do), the secondary endpoints can actually paint a BETTER picture at the effectiveness of LL because they are objective data points, not a qualitative scale. 

- Time to resolution

- NEWS score (based on vital signs and assessment)

- Oxygen saturation

- severity of disease based on hospital admission and acuity. 

- Requiring ventilation or supplement oxygen

- Blood levels/results

These "secondary endpoints" can prove LL effectiveness just as well, if not better than the "primary".

Again all that matters is the results, but I don't see the lack of info on the "primary endpoint" being a sign of ineffectiveness or one that limits the ceiling of this drug. 

Anyways the S/C is what really matters and we know we should be getting that data next week. Let's hope that stop the trial and give everyone LL.

Anesthesia is one of the highest paying specialities on average.

Many docs I know (quite a few in my fam) have a degenerate gambling tendencies. That probably explains where this guy is coming from.

Yeah, I get that. 

But the actions of everything around this company has just been weird to me. I understand the point of the shirt. But in relation to a lot of the cheerleading going on without any real info from the company makes the whole thing not feel right.

 
Lots of talk on long haulers (people who’ve recovered from Covid mostly, but have minor issues after) and that rantes is still present then Dr. P snuck in a “at least the ones that hadn’t had Leronlimab”

Thought it was interesting that BP said the drug from India while it decreased RANTES the downside is it decreased T-cell proliferation, which makes it closer to a true immunosuppressive (my RN knowledge agrees with this). Basically similar to steroids where it increases the risk of infection. 

Also, Dr. Yo doesn't sound as dumb as his Twitter hash tags state.

He's definitely not dumb.  I just don't understand why he acts like a buffoon on social media.

 
BP about his article.

Going under the peer review process. The board had questions about:

- Lack of control data. Got other critical samples to analyze for "control".

- Addressed CD14 data from other articles.

- Questions about outcomes - patient population. 

- 3 month publication is fast in normal circumstances. 6-12 months usually.

So basically it's going through the typical peer review process.

On SAE results.

- BP was part of team analyzing SAE.

- Agrees with Dr. Jay Lazari (?) that this is a good thing. "Really positive sign", "No HIV patient on LL has COVID", "No one on LL has clotting ailments"

- LL has the story: understands what's happening and why it works. 

Listening to BP he truly believes in LL. I can get a whiff of salesmanship when he talks about post-survellience/testing of "long haulers".

Dr. Yo - "Takes really long time you get data out. That's not how science works. Not just plugging data into excel. Still have to interpret data."

BP - "Also important to understand why something doesn't work. Even LL won't help everyone."

 
BP on P-value: It is or it isn't. 

Doesn't believe in "trending to significance." Blasts Dr. Fauci for stating that about Remdisivir when the outcome and mechanism of action don't match. Important for credibility.

But added....at the end of the day if it saves lives. Thinks they can do it with LL.

 
Is this one of those reverse things?  Like, if the stock goes down 7% every day, eventually I’ll wake up and holy crap I’m rich?

 
BP on drugs other than LL:

"Likes India drug if it doesn't cause secondary infections."

"So many others out there, but understanding what separates it from competitors will be important AFTER approval."

Also adds just starting to understand what it could be done with the drug. 

 
BP on cancer:

Analyzed different cancer and created score/scale that shows how much CCR5 receptors (?) on different types of cancer. Forgot the rankings, but other cancers have higher CCR5 than others.
