Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens WR Derrick Mason (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 5. Mason guaranteed he will play Week 5.

Just like Javon Walker said he was "definite." I think the Ravens don't want to take any chances, seeing as what happened to Clayton the early part of this season.

Yeah, Clayton said there was like 9? Pro Bowl receivers out this week. The only ones I was sure I heard were Mason, Boldin, and Bruce. Have to continue to watch it close. Injuries are sick this year.EDIT: This one could be in the probably won't go category. My bad. Clayton was spinning his words.

Yeah, I had to pick up Bobby Engram off the waiver wire, just in hopes of getting anything at this WR spot this week. Not pretty.

I had to pick up Demetrius Williams for the same reason... Went w/ Williams due to Heap possibly being, didn't expect Mason to be out to. These kinds of pick-ups never work out for me....
