Sure. Three rich black guys who believe that police brutality is a myth and that things really aren't that bad for black people. That will go over real easy with the BLM types.
I know things have been bad for black people. Maybe..just maybe Trump will at least try to improve things. This is a start finally with different players.  Better than bringing Jackson and Sharpton in like the old stale regimes that never changed anything.

CNN will never accept races getting along though.

This is the email.

I feel bad for the guy, but it looks like the phishing link was asking for a pw entry and the IT staff fell for it.
No.  The IT staff gave him a different link to use.  The response was terribly worded, but he was instructed to go to the legitimate google address, change his password, and turn on two-factor identification.  The follow-up email then stated that the link to the Google address (as opposed to the original, Ukranian link), was "real" and asked a member of the IT staff to walk Podesta through changing his password and turning on two-factor identification.  Which is probably what the response should have been in the first place.

If he meant "Illegitimate" he would have said "DO. NOT. CLICK. THAT. LINK." and probably would have instructed him to destroy the email. I don't know if it matters whether it's the IT guy's fault or the aide's (and neither Latham nor Fisher were "IT") but IMO it was a clear screwup from IT even if they did think it was 'illegitimate' (which on the face of things seems absurd, and it's actually worse if that were the case).

What examples from Trump's campaign suggest race relations will be a priority in the Trump administration, and that Trump is equipped to take the lead on improving them?

Well anything Trump does will be an improvement over Obama.  By every matrix black people are worse off now than they were 8 years ago and it isn't even an arguement.

If he creates jobs I think that would help for example.

The last 8 years have not been good for race relations.  Just hoping for some change and hopefully some progress with new and different players. I really thought Obama would be that person but it did not seem like a priority for him.

Is it fair to say you think Obama made race relations worse and that Obama did not create jobs during his presidency?

On the advanced level, since the creation of the CIA and its clones, we have been in an almost constant state of warfare and destabilizing governments around the world. 6 plus decades of that crap and honest people debate about whether they were involved in the periphery of murdering JFK. Its beyond debate that they have repeatedly used drug and weapons trafficking to fund various black ops.

Before they existed, with the USA was much less inclined to go around the world doing that kind of thing.
I always heard that’s how we avoid another Pearl Harbor. I always thought the next people who considered a sunday morning sneak attack might look at all of Japan as a smoking ruin and Hiroshima and Nagasaki being nuked and feel deterred.

The intelligence community has become a shadow government, and is not a force for good or the American way.
This is ridiculous.   You obviously have no ####### clue about our history in central and south America.

My question was what specifically from Trump's campaign makes you think it will be better under Trump.  Is there anything specific other than the triumph of hope over experience?

Voting machines in more than one-third of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have during last month’s presidential election, according to Wayne County records prepared at the request of The Detroit News.

Detailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. Voting irregularities in Detroit have spurred plans for an audit by Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s office, Elections Director Chris Thomas said Monday.

...Overall, state records show 10.6 percent of the precincts in the 22 counties that began the retabulation process couldn’t be recounted because of state law that bars recounts for unbalanced precincts or ones with broken seals.

The problems were the worst in Detroit, where discrepancies meant officials couldn’t recount votes in 392 precincts, or nearly 60 percent. And two-thirds of those precincts had too many votes.

This is why the popular vote is BS and one reason why the Electoral College is essential: massive voter fraud in the Blue States, especially in their major cities.

Voter fraud is more likely to occur with Democrats, plain and simple. Trump would likely have won PA and MI and probably other states too by wider margins if there hadn’t been voter fraud. And California seems so out of step with the rest of the nation probably in no small part to voter fraud.

Well, actually this seems to be the problem:

“It’s not good,” conceded Daniel Baxter, elections director for the city of Detroit.

He blamed the discrepancies on the city’s decade-old voting machines, saying 87 optical scanners broke on Election Day. Many jammed when voters fed ballots into scanners, which can result in erroneous vote counts if ballots are inserted multiple times. Poll workers are supposed to adjust counters to reflect a single vote but in many cases failed to do so, causing the discrepancies, Baxter said.

Voter IDs and laws for them would have little effect if the machines are crap.

Who was it that first made it Obama's responsibility to make black and white people get along?

Who was the first guy that made the unsubstantiated claim about race relations, that people are happy to parrot once, then run away when asked to back it up?

That guy needs to be getting royalty checks from these people.

Yeah, I don't think voter IDs are the problem either. I think we have them in NO and I bet an audit would find something similar.

I'd say let's see the results of testing of the machines then move on from there....

...and I would not rule out user "error"...

Do we think Trump would rather be president or own the hotel in the Old Post Office?
Let's play this out:

- Trump becomes President.

- Trump hasn't resolved his COI problems.

- GSA sues Trump hotel in DC to cancel the lease.

- GSA sues in the name of the President as plaintiff and names the President as defendant.

A judge gets to make the first call on Trump's conflicts of interest problem.

Trump's kids and son-in-law are all sitting in on his meetings with tech execs. Never mind that whole blind trust. Nothing to see here at all.

No wonder they don't want any vote ID laws :lmao:
"They" who?

Your response here is pretty typical of the election back and forth:

1) News reported (eg. Michigan voting problems - Detroit News)

2) Reported again and selectively edited (eg. Detroit Voter Fraud! - Fox News)

3) Posted on another web (eg. Dems voter fraud in Detroit! -) - FBGs)

4) The pot get stirred (thread here)

It's not the hot topic of "fake news" but it is a distortion of it. You get to feel, apparently, deeply satisfied as it confirmed your sweeping assumptions about "they", whoever "they" are. You're either too lazy (3 clicks is a click too far!), incurious (what happened?), or just don't care ("they" are who I think they are!).

Stop it, already.

He doesn't even bull#### well anymore:

President-elect Donald Trump met with technology CEOs Wednesday and took credit for a market 'bounce' since the Nov. 8 election. However, many technology companies are actually under-performing the general market.

"I'm here to help you folks do well. And you're doing well right now. And I'm very honored by the bounce. They're all talking about the bounce. So right now everyone in this room has to like me just a little bit," Trump said in the session.
seems reasonable....

Other than Intel, almost every technology company run by those in the room with Trump under-performed the market with Amazon, Cisco and Facebook with negative returns.
oh wait, nevermind.

Some older voting machines are like vending machines in that you feed the ballot into it like you would a dollar bill. You take your smooth, uncreased dollar into it and it's supposed to take it. How often did you get it right on the first try? In my experience, it always felt like something like a crapshoot. It spits the dollar out and you have to re-try it a few times before it accepts it. Sounds like it could be the same thing here.

They can't seem to get out of their own way. They're the mush of politics.
You should change your user name to avoiding intellectual curiosity as it took you less than 5 minutes to put the below on display, yet again. Bravo.

We do have some racists mad that we have a black President and because of that the black President is ruining race relations?  That's so weird.

I don't know, it depends on the machine.

In NO you may have heard that Jefferson Parish had a voting machine sequestered off to the side in the Parish building for special use. Someone called the FBI.

Interesting. So, is he now admitting that he purposely takes meetings to positively or negatively affect a stock price?
I'm not sure about that, but he is admitting that a) he has no clue how the stock market actually works and b) that the success of his presidency is tied to it going up.  Neither are good.  Thank god someone like Cohn is actually in the room.

You're right,  it IS  a problem.  I don't trust these voting machines.

In the case cited,  it's Detroit.  Clinton may have gotten more votes than she should have.  That's a problem.

If it happened in Detroit,  it may have happened in Omaha,  NE as well.

I don't trust the electronic voting machines,  period.  Clinton got extra votes,  Trump got extra votes.  Let's figure out the problem and fix it.I'm not complaining because Trump won.  I'm complaining because there's no audit trail.

"...So right now everyone in this room has to like me just a little bit," Trump said in the session.
Such a needy, insecure guy. Instead of a U.S. flag he should just wear a pin that says "Love, me...please?" Pathetic.

Brennan Center expert breaks down what happened (likely)

From another article :

Michigan's voting machines are outdated and beginning to break down, with counties buying used parts on the Internet and nursing a computer operating system that stopped being sold in 2008
