Official Drunk Thread (1 Viewer)

me you watched Shaun of the Dead before you watched this.

started to, but it was on MTV and had way too many commercials. I've seen it a few times. Never saw Transformers 3, and I have it on a 720p avi.

You finish Transformers 3? Other than it being a little too long, what did you think of it?

it was a freaking mess. someone needed to chop 60 pages out of that screenplay, eliminate about 3-4 characters, and clean the whole story up.

Yeah, on the one hand, I love that they were bringing back one of my favorite childhood cartoons, but on the other hand I hated how much of a mess they made it and how poorly done they were. There were some cool aspect of the films, but overall I really wish they would have gone in a direction closer to what the cartoons were.

the first two were fun popcorn flicks. the third one was just a disaster. I tried watching this once before, but I was drunk and trying to get together with an equally drunk woman, and we both kept fading in and out as we watched it. I just assumed that it seemed overly long and disjointed because of how drunk I was. Turns out it just sucked (which makes me feel worse about not being able to close the deal that night).

That's weird, I actually thought 2 was the worst of the 3. I thought it had the worst story and was trying to make up for all the holes that the first one left. I thought three, other than the time spent on the girlfriend was more entertaining and did a better jobe of furthuring the story.

Anyone think we are going to see a part 4?

Should I know the Seatown alias?
Not an alias. Just a rare poster that pops up every now and then. Mostly post after I've had a few.

Weather chat activated:Had some Milwaukee type weather today here in Seattle. A couple of inches of snow, and more comming in the forcast. Can't wait, love the snow. We don't get it much here, so when we do it's a treat.
except for the part where everything shuts down...

It's been unseasonably warm here. Hasn't gotten much below freezing all winter long. Lakes and rivers haven't frozen over so there's been a bunch of deaths of impatient ice fishermen. We just had our first significant snow on Thursday. Until then we were in the middle of the 3rd least amount of snow in Milwaukee recorded history.

anyone else ever fall in love with a married woman, and then want to drink themselves into oblivion because even smoking hot women 20 years younger can't make you stop thinking about her?

hey look, it's snowing outside!

shot?

Ooohh, talking about rectords, it was all over the news that we had the fifth driest December in recorded history in Seattle... Was cooler than normal, but no moisture. Odd for us.

As long as downtown doesn't get any snow we are usually good. It's when the snow gets there is when we get everyone going crazy. I don't remember if it was last year, or the year before, but we had a storm come in and start dumping mid-day and by the time everyone started going home it was a mess and it took hours for people to get home. Yeah, I left work at five that day and didn't get home till one thirty in the morning... Horrible day, never want that to happen again. So, like if Monday it's still supposed to snow, it's vacation day for me.

I'm in Gig Harbor. We don't even have a snowplow here. If it snows, we can't leave. Even if I can, it turns a 45 minute commute into 2 and a 1/2 hours. this week's going to be a nightmare.

Grew up in Des Moines, couple of years ago move to Lake Stevens. I like this Convergence Zone action we have up here. Like I said, we have about two inches of snow, and my folks in Des Moines have nada.

I've still got 4 tallboys left
I have 5 bud lights, half a bottle of scotch, probably two more shots of fireball, and if need be a bottle of beefeater before I start opening wine.
Well that should last you through breakfast
you'd think. I think I'm shooting for a blackout. I'm going to stay away from adding more narcotics, but I'm finishing this scotch at the very least.

just got a weird text from an unknown number, telling me to come to one of my local bars.

I'm intrigued, but also shouldn't be driving anywhere.

I'm hammered and pissed about my Saints blowing it. FIVE TURNOVERS! But then TWO times we felt like it was won, but the defense couldn't cover the 9ers only threat - Vernon Davis.

#### me. There isn't enough alcohol in the world to numb this one...

It's Knuckles! Lock it down and lose the lights!
:finger:
this is definitely not her style. this is clearly someone that I don't know directly but has my number and knows a little, but not much, about me.
Paralegal's hubby?
