How's everyone doing?

Kid might have pinkeye. Wife works 13 hours tomorrow. I get to sleep in a bit because she doesn't go in until 9am but I'm self medicating before I *might* have to take him to urgent care.

Oof. Stinkin' kids. Boy #2 just woke up again with what I thought was going to be fever but turned out to be a night terror (which is somehow a better outcome). Drinking heavily because I expect to be deliriously up and down all night anyhow.

are you giving your kids asthma medicine? flovent, maybe?

Nah. Just Albuterol for the last 24 hours because of a lung infection.

Unless there's some kind of class action lawsuit payout in it for me. Then, hell yes. They're all drugged up on that #### and it's making them crazy.

just wondering. my kid had childhood asthma. Turns out night terrors and hallucinations are a known (but not much talked about) side effect of flovent and advair. Fun having a 5 year old scared ####less and hallucinating.

night terrors suck. I had them as a kid. my daughter had them, but seems to have grown out of them.

From what I've read, it's most common at his age right now and he should grow out of it.

They said my brain was too advanced for my age and I couldn't process everything that was going through my head, I couldn't make sense of things. I had them for two years I think, had to go to the sleep clinic and all that. They eventually went away and I turned out ok I suppose.

I think there are software solutions. A lot of them are pretty spammy though. Sucksor.

My dad runs the church where they made me attend 8 years of grade school and 4 years of CCD. 2 years ago my 68 year old mom went to Tanzania for 3 weeks to help at a nunnery/orphanage. I think I can hold my own on that front.

Africa is beautiful beyond words. It's ####ed up, sure but a lot of it has to do with colonialism and how the continent was divided. People are great, food is great, and it's just visually stunning.
