IN fact, I was wondering that, because I too am still awesome, since I still play a couple of times a week, though I am more of a Jalalabad and Wake man.

On a related note, has anyone used the OCZ Equalizer mouse? I got it for $20 shipped from the 'Egg and love the feel of it. It has a "Turbo" button which fires 3 times in less than a second for rapidfire gaming. I need to try that on a semi-auto rifle with BF2.

I have the MX518 at home and LOVE that one. I have the wireless G-5 at work, or is it G-7?, anyway, both are good. For the price, though, this OCZ is not bad at all. I only use it on my new gaming laptop - this Asus monster that I am loving more and more.

Operation Flashpoint 2 looks AMAZING, but it wont be good for MP. Way too complicated/dificult to be any fun.

I'm having trouble following hardware at this point since Toms Hardware guide has basically shut down. Not sure why the arent doing the monthly video card comparisons.

You can check out Maximum PC. They do an okay job of updating as new hardware comes out.

Download the Punkbuster exe updater file and run it. Should help but frankly PB has been a lot more aggressive for no reason in BF2, of late.

Yup...I need to figure out the resolution stuff, can't get the game to load when I set the command line to 1680x1050. Not that that mattered tonight, we were getting owned.

You may have already done that, but it works for me.

with some slightly good news, it looks like Bad Company 2 will be at least 40 players. Some magazine confirmed it hte other day and its all over the BF sites.

Personally, i think they knew it would be 40 all along, but originally announced 24 because people would go "Hey, they listend to us and bumped it to 40" and be happy (ignoring the fact that the previous 2 generations of BF games supported 64 players).

DICE has gained some of my faith back in the last month or so. Unfortunatly, they delayed the PC version of 1943 until september, so they might have to wait a few extra months to get my $$ (i dont plan on double dipping to get the console version for the summer)
