Post-patch game play is interesting. There are some good changes. I think tanks are much more balanced. They don't just laugh when you hit them with a non-perfect rocket shot and the toned down repair tool is much more reasonable. The gun play changes are a mixed bag. I used the AS Val for most of last night and its awesome now. Even though the patch notes say that it got a little more vertical recoil and lowered accuracy on the move, it seems much more accurate to me. Now that you can use extended mags, its an absolute beast if you're an accurate shooter. I also like that its actually possible to get suppression ribbons now without purposely missing. Before, unless i was playing operation metro or playing a super long map (like 1000 tickets) i couldn't get 7 in a round. I wish they would change the mcom defender ribbon as well, but i don't think they did.On a negative note, the increased suppression effect is just brutal. I don't know why they changed it. It was perfect before. Now, if a bullet comes within 50 feet of you, your screen blurs like someone punched you in the face. This is just painful in metro and damavand peak. Also, something happened with the SKS. The patch notes would indicate that they buffed it, but i suck with it now. I took off the foregrip (because it now brings a long range accuracy penalty) and i still couldn't hit anyone. It also looks like it takes 4 body hits to kill from long range now. No point in using it if that's the case.
