I'll try to add you as well when I get home (Ajax35). One problem that KT and I have had recently is squadding up together and having nobody else on our squad. We do our best, but if we both die we have to respawn back at our base, which is a huge PITA on some maps, like the Isla Innocentes. Having a full squad would be great since it makes it easier to respawn and since you have more guys to watch your back.
Yep, I hear ya, I am generally recon and find nice little niches to hide in, so I make a good spawn for teammates. I can roll another class if needed. I suck at flying helicopters (but can fly the UAV well), I need to look up some instructions on helo flying.

Jihad jeeps have been around long before this. The C4 jeep to blow up a tank/UAV/radar in BF2 were awesome if you did them, infuriating if you received the love.

Spotter doesnt take away your 12X. i only used it briefly since i got Magnum fairly quick after getting the Spotter. maybe it lets you target multiple targets quicker and automatic?

I will not be on tonight, but I feel your pain. I struggled today trying to get the med pack and the defib in somegames with Joe and Tlef. Finally got on a roll and unlocked them both.Is anyone gonna get on tonight? I should be on for a couple of hours anyway. I was getting meager points as recon today, so did 2 rounds as a medic and topped 2500 points in medic alone without awards for 2 rounds. Back to Sucktown for points for a while now.
I don't know what class you were playing, but I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've gotten knifed by a Recon who I knew perfectly well was there but who I thought was on my team.

)Yes. it counts. Thats how i got mine. I got the boat on isla innocentes and waited for the defending team to run a bunch of snipers over on the hill between the attacking spawn and the island. It took me 2 tries (got sniped the first time) but i eventually killed 4 or 5 snipers. I'll have to go back and do it again at some point so i can get the stars for vehicle combat. I've got all the gold stars for all the assault guns and all but 2 engy guns. I hope they fix the M1 soon (kills dont register, so you cant get the "get all stars" awards).
Wait. You have to get a star with the M1 to get the "all bronze stars" insignia? If that's the case, it's impossible for those of us who aren't "veterans" to get this patch, right? Or am I missing something?I haven't made any effort toward this patch yet so it wouldn't be the biggest deal in the world, but that seems pretty lame regardless.

incorrect. The squad rush maps only have 1 or 2 sets of MCOM stations (i actually think it might only be 1 set). You'd basically have to blow up every one of them yourself.I think the way i did it was best. I got pretty lucky, I was on a server that was very close to full (i think each team had 1 or at the most 2 open slots) and the defending team just refused to defend the MCOMM Stations. I did it on the Port Valdez map, got 1 station on the first set (the one in the house), got both stations on the second set, got 1 station on the third set (the one in the warehouse by the helicopter spawn) and 1 more in the last set (the one in the building right on top of the hill). I can never remember which one is A or B. I was always one of the first guys rushing the next set and it seemed like the defenders were still at the previous area. After you capture both MCOMM stations there is a delay before you can rush the second area. Is the delay always the same (so many seconds after both MCOMM stations are captured) or does it vary depending on how many defenders have spawned at the next base?incorrect. I just got that one this morning, do Isla Innocentes rush map, use a recon loadout with 12x and Magnum Ammo, drive the big boat a very short ways, change your seat so that you can use your sniper rifle and go to town, that is the easiest way to get that pin.
wait....you didnt have to use the actual gun on the boat? interesting method. I'll be doing this when i go for the bronze/silver/gold star for boat combat.Thanks.

That is just cruel. Oh well, it's not like there is any benefit to higher rank at this point in the game.It makes you wonder when you see rank 40+'s though, doesn't it?
i'm interested to see what happens down the road. I have to think we're gonna get some more unlocks at some point. If i'm level 40 when they drop an expansion pack, will i immedietly get all the unlocks from level 25-40? And yes, anyone over level 30 really needs a life. I'm pretty good at this game and have played way too much. (over 50 hours of play time already. Major
) but i cant imagine the people that are level 35 or so. Just brutal.Even if they are just using the uber weapons the entire time, you eventually run out of stars to earn. (nothing after platinum as far as i know) Using all the weapons has probably gotten me ~100K points that i wouldnt have otherwise gotten. Yeah, using the shotguns, bad SMG's and the bad pistols has cost me kills, but the extra points from the stars more than makes up the diference eventually.
