i got the offer. id like to see a full set of our keeper rules before i decide. Could someone direct me to them? How many can we keep? what do we lose by keeping people? stuff like that.

Same - one thing I wondered was if I trade a draft pick away do I get to keep the player I get in addition to the 4 (right?) that I originally had, while the team that trades a player away can only keep 3 + the extra draft pick? Or (more likely) are we able to only keep 4 period, and so trades for players only upgrade positions not allow extra keepers.
The way it works in my other keeper leagues is that we have 'slots'. Slots are draft picks and players going into next year's roster. If you have 16 players on your roster, and you keep four from last year, then you have a 12 round draft. So if you trade away a player for a pick, each team still needs to have those 16 slots to keep things balanced. For example, if someone offered a 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd for one RB, and it was accepted, then both teams would be unbalanced because one team would have 14 slots, and the other would have 18. To balance out that trade, the accepting team would have to throw in its lowest draft picks (11+12) so that each team is exchanging three slots (players+picks).IF that is the case with our league here, then exchanging a pick for a player would be fine. Going into the draft we all would still have that 16 slots. The difference being some teams would have three players and one extra draft pick, and others would have five players and one less draft pick.ah crap. I think I just talked myself out of that trade...I think we need a commish ruling. I've cancelled the offer until we get a more clear understanding of this.
