FYI - About Titan Gun repairsYou get 2 pts (1 tw, 1 repair) for each Titan gun you bring from destroyed back to functioning (not fully repaired, but functioning) regardless of whether anyone is using it. You max out at 16 points from this method.You get 1 repair point for each occupied Titan gun you full repair (or some combination on multiple guns). There is no limit to these points.
Confirmed. I got the Gold Engineer Badge right after you left. My last one is the Gold Support. The kills won't be hard to get with that one. Still need 12 hours or so.
Did you know that you get these points if you are an engineer, manning a gun and another gun gets hit? I discovered this when I was doing this and checked my score and was :ph34r:

Well, there's still the 60-hour Gold Engineering Support Badge with the two gears icon on it. You need 15 repair points in a round plus 60 hours as Engineer.Speaking of which, I need some help with two badges.1. Engineering Support Badge. Need to go in a vehicle with someone and have them switch tio the main seat when we get hit so I can get some repair points (plus I can get some in the titan.) Preferably, we'd do this in a round when I already had a good 6-8 repair points from repairing the titan guns at the start of the round.2. Squad Leader Badge. Need 30 spawns on the beacon. Nuff said.

Remember in BF2 the rolling engineer convoys where you would heal each other? Kinda like that - I think if an Engineer is manning a gun, he repairs the others guns automatically. That is the only way I can reconcile the mad points I piled up one night as an engineer. I did some manual repairs, but not that many.

But sounds awesome. Major changes. You can't man a vehicle without choosing the crewman kit. You can only enter vehicles if you are standing in front of the door. Etc.

Yep - got my Close Combat pin just after everyone took off thanks to the shotty being unlocked. Fun. And frustrating since a lot of people seem to be using the shotgun thanks to the free unlocks.

I mentioned this earlier tonight on TS, but I need a new keyboard. Any recommendations? I was looking at the G11/15 but not sure, I've pretty much got by with cheapo KBs in the past. Using a M$ digital media pro KB right now (from wife's desktop) and the keys seem a little more responsive, which made me think maybe I should get a better KB this time around.

1 question about the G11 Shawn - can you tell me how wide it is? (in inches) - I have a limited space where my KB sits, and one of my concerns is the width with the macro keys tacked on.

It extends about 2 inches out on either side of my 19" widescreen monitor. It's a WIDE keyboard.

Same - one thing I wondered was if I trade a draft pick away do I get to keep the player I get in addition to the 4 (right?) that I originally had, while the team that trades a player away can only keep 3 + the extra draft pick? Or (more likely) are we able to only keep 4 period, and so trades for players only upgrade positions not allow extra keepers.

For example, if someone offered a 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd for one RB, and it was accepted, then both teams would be unbalanced because one team would have 14 slots, and the other would have 18. To balance out that trade, the accepting team would have to throw in its lowest draft picks (11+12) so that each team is exchanging three slots (players+picks).IF that is the case with our league here, then exchanging a pick for a player would be fine. Going into the draft we all would still have that 16 slots. The difference being some teams would have three players and one extra draft pick, and others would have five players and one less draft pick.ah crap. I think I just talked myself out of that trade...I think we need a commish ruling. I've cancelled the offer until we get a more clear understanding of this.

Im so glad they changed the requirements on heal points. i was able to get my basic and veteran in one round last night.

I like that idea Shawn - I also like the "slots" idea. I may bring that up in my work league instead of the "straight two keepers" we currently do.
 
Cooleyo and I dominated the top of the Titan on our last round tonight. He had 140 (more?) points at the end of the round, and I had my high score of 101. Also had 2200+ career points, with a Gold Titan Defense badge, knife collectors silver badge, possibly Engineer silver badge as well. Good times.

We could get the attack badge if someone would defend like Maelstrom and I did. I think I was 71 and 34. It was a long round and we were on the losing side, but we dominated them so much on top the round kept going.
 
Shawn, could you repost the key change for the missile on the Attack Chopper? TIA.
On common controlsin the secondary controls for look left look right look up and look down, add the arrow keys.So then when you fire the missile you can control it's flight with the arrow keys and it's much easier. Which still makes it quite hard.
 
Dang, finally got the 25 hours to get to the Silver Gunship badge. I had to team kill a guy to get it, though.

When I had 11 kills on a very fast moving round, this guy decided he would use the gunship to kill titan guns. Well, the problem is, the enemy owned every silo and had a swinging **** in in every AA gun. We didn't even make it to the other Titan. He did this twice, and on the third time, I timed it and shot him in the noggin just as the gunship was about to spawn. From that point on he chased me around the map in a transport trying to ram me, which was actually a good thing because it kept me moving. Within 5 seconds of my last kill the enemy titan blew up.

The roofers working on my neighbor's house burned through my cable with a blow torch while I was playing yesterday afternoon. Thanks morons! No gaming for me until it's fixed. I'll have to survive by stealing wifi.

I have Charter's 3MB service, getting upgraded to 5 MB next month. They also have a 10 MB service I believe, but I shan't be paying the premium.
