There is nothing more frustrating than playing a well-coordinated team and your team blows.

I played a couple of rounds yesterday. The first was Port Bavaria and we never capped a single flag as the EU. They had each flag guarded equally and well supported by mechs, etc.

The 2nd round was Remagen and they ran in swarms. I was in a speeder and saw literally 8 of them running together. I hit the thrusters hoping for a badge, but only got 4 before I was killed and never got another speeder the whole round because they kept those flags.

Gator and I finally got our Titan Attack gold badges the other night, that Titan round lasted forever. After not being able to get 30 kills on the Titan, I finished the round with 61 Titan kills and 66 overall. Maelstrom got real close to getting it as well.

I'm heading to DC in the morning so I'll be out for a week. Will probably play some tonight, have fun if I don't see you guys before then.

That one night I kicked that one guy from the channel one time. He was a child though. I bet our channel not being there and that little punk are completely unrelated. I'm not sure how you go about asking for it though. I just sent a PM to the BIGQEd guy who is the admin for Fraghaus. I'll find out what happened.

Even though I haven't been playing much as of late I, I'm okay with whatever ya'll decide. I won't mind kicking down a few bucks to keep a private channel just for us... Although Cnutz had a good point about kicking out any unwelcome people.

i had no problem at all with the old server. I never experienced any "rif raf" But if you guys decide to go with a new one, ill chip in a bit somehow. Just let me know, and ill set up a paypall account or something

The FH TS server is on a OC3 line at a ISP in Ohio. The guy that owns FH also owns the ISP.

My ping was SLIGHTLY better on the new one 48ms versus 55ms. I'll sample it a few times. For maybe 8 bucks per year we could have our own TS server, I think if for not other reason than the novelty it would be cool to have our own. For one thing it never disappears on us.

I found a nice free script (teamspeakdisplay) that can be install on a website so we don't have to worry about all the extra crap on the page above (or even the Fraghaus page), but I can't get it to see the server for some reason. Seems to be a common error with this specific script from the forum messages I found about it. I'll post a link if I can get it working. I can probably get it working for the Fraghaus server as well showing just our channel, but right now it is showing the same error - server offline.

No?Crap, as it is I have too many games to possibly play right now between BF2/BF2142, LOTR2, NWN2, Oblivion, SW:EAW, WoW, Medieval 2:TW, HL2:Ep1, BIA:EIB, etc.I have no time for another.The next time I will consider buying a game is when Bioshock, Enemy Territory:QW or MOH: Airborne come out AND they have good ratings.

Nope, not me. I'm still playing Generals. I go from BF2, to Civ4, to Generals depending on how quickly I want to can some butt. Generals is usually the 2-3 hours time frame.

i like them when they first come out. Its all about experimenting with stuff, flanking and using fun tactics. Then people discover the best strategies, and it becomes a matter of who can click the fastest and crunch the correct numbers for maximum efficiency. I cant do that as well as others can, so i get slaughtered and lose interest.

Nah. I just play against the machine. I tried to get other people, that i know, to play but everyone schedule is wacked. I was excited that Civ4 had that Pitboss, but again, no one to play with. And with four kids, I really can't schedule a consistent time either...

The game is beautiful. Supreme Commander got a lot of props for the visuals but I prefer C&C 3 in that area. I still think the UI in Supreme Commander was awesome.
