I'd put widow if I were you.
IMO just use whatever site(s) works best for you. I'm using yahoo and hotornot, but most others others here are using match and/or plentyoffish. Take a look at all of them and see which seems to be the best fit for you (read: has the most hot chicks in your area ).

1st off sorry for your loss. just put single? that might freak some people out, no?
Secondly, I think you should put widowed down. It's a part of who you are and if someone's not accepting of that, they aren't worth your time IMO. I would think most women would appreciate the honesty. If you hide the fact of being widowed and spring it on them later, it certainly could introduce trust issues - the fact that you hid it causing a problem that would not have been there.Just my opinion.Good luck-QG

you should always be as honest as possible, if I found out later that a guy was seperated but told me he was divorced, i'd wonder what else he was hiding. ( sorry, just being honest and what I would wonder ) and no, a guy saying he's seperated would not keep me from talking or going out with him.....sure they do! Would you want to know if you were dating a women who was not divorced? And to take it to the next step, what if one of these women you want to see long term, and she finds out that the first time you met was based on a lie ( her thinking you are truly single ) I say tell her that your divorce will be final on 7/1, more times than not, i'd say they would understand....if she doesn't, she isn't worth it then.I'm not officially divorced yet either (will be final 7/1... Independence Day comes a little early this year). I'm not sure these girls need to know that though...

OK....here is my update.
"38D's"....After an amazing weekend of well......you know. We have agreed to stop seeing each due to the distance. "Tiny Shy Blonde"- Can't figure this chick out. We have talked forever but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Yet I keep chasing. I am intrigued, but losing patience. She is close to being put on the bench in favour of letting some rookies get some playing time.
So anyway, I put my profile back up yesterday and wrote some of girls I was talking with in the past. I got 8 new contacts yesterday. 5 bad - 3 good. The best prosepect is let's call her "The Teacher". She wrote me (Always a good sign) says blah blah....likes my profile, wants to go rollerblading. SO, hoping to check that out this coming weekend. Very tight body, nice face, I am DOWN with this one.
There are about 8-10 others I am talking with....but I not going to bore you with backgrounds then until any of them become note worthy.
Would love to hear similar updates from the other guys......Otis...this means you?

LOL...just finished them.I will send them in the next 5 mins back to your e-mail.I cropped 3 of the 5, keep the other 2 as is. (Halloween pic and the shot with your all of you guy friends). It shows you like to have fun with your friends (Both male and female).
