For the record, the chicks posted above are actually, on the whole, pretty smart. I filter out the "OMG lool" chicks right off the bat, regardless of looks. The chicks above include professionals -- lawyers, chemical engineers, and even a chick in med school (one of the ones I find most attractive of all). I guess yeah, I probably likes 8s and 9s. I think I'm pretty much done with this.

I've said that I was going to wait a couple of months to go back to the online dating world, but last week I started up again on Match. I've written a few emails with no response (well, one wrote back saying thanks but no thanks), but I got a wink from someone a few days ago, and after a few email exchanges it looks like we'll meet up next week. It will be my first date in, well, a long time.

Yay - he's fun to talk to (we chat pretty much every day), he has a cool accent, and he is a cutie, even if he doesn't think so. Boo - he lives in Wisconsin - about 5 hours from me. We'll see how that goes.
