***OFFICIAL*** FFA MLB Draft (2 Viewers)

Luis Aparicio, SS

9 gold gloves and 9 times led the league in steals..awesome defensive SS, maybe the best until Ozzie.

don't like the OBP/BA much, may hit him 8th..rather have my high OBP guy (Rose) at the top of the order.

You could bat Clemente #2 so that leaves your options open.13 SS taken, big run in the last couple rounds.

yeah, I was considering that..I like Pete there too, if I can acquire a good leadoff man.

I think it might be easier to find a solid #5 than it is to find a #1 or #2 at this point.
 
Every great closer needs a great set-up man.

dont' you have Fingers and Eck??I mean, I guess you could probably go with a 3 man rotation if your relievers pitch the 8/9 innings of EVERY game... but... still...

 
Never heard back from Capella....Why all the haters? Fingers is not a top 100 all-time player? Pul-hease.The other spots I needed to fill were simply too deep. Too much talent on the board to justify taking anybody, when I'm sure I could get someone just as good on the way back. I think having those two guys in my bullpen gives me an advantage in a seven game series. Fingers is doubly special as not only to I get to have him, but the other great closer is now off the board and I won't have to face him. Have fun closing w/ Jose Mesa in this thing.

Don't spoil my next pick....Seriously, I don't buy that argument. They can pitch against anyone, not looking for a situational guy when I took him....

If you look at their August numbers Ramirez is better than Ruth. If Ruth hadn't hit those last 300 home runs he wouldn't even be a first round pick. }=OP
 
:brush: Don Sutton suxor. I thought about grabbing him, but then I remembered those Braves broadcasts.. and the fact that his ERA+ was about as warm as a summer in San Francisco.
