to be fair to CSTU betting on Trump to win is amoral and they deserve to get stiffed and possibly stoned to death.

naw, betting shouldn't involve emotions.  I didn't want Trump to win but at 7-1 was a great bet...well woulda been if the bet had a chance to get paid out.

Peyton brought up an old post of him saying he was making  $12.50 hr last year at his new job and would be making same $ for a yr +

Living in LA/So Cal area with an 8 year old special needs daughter and a wife who's a realtor makes me believe HE doesn't have the  :moneybag:

And if  he has to tell/ask his wife ( who has to be the bread winner) for 2g's to pay off an election bet, I seriously don't  doubt an epic fight would ensue.

He's  also bad with money/finances(401k, portfolio) by his posting history. Guy was goimg to lay $700 to win a bill...  even when Bonney explained he had much better ODDS at legit betting sites IE -250, -300, -350

So now it's obvious he never had the cash to lay real bets so apparently thought make them here  with no issue UNLESS he lost.. which in his head like many couldn't happen until it did.

Sad to say I think this place was a place for him to live out some fantasy of being "someone"  & to take his mind off of his real unhappy life. Now its gone because of pure stupidity, arrogance & greed
Dang, didn't realize this was his situation.  So stupid to bet money you don't have or can't afford to lose but feel sorry for the guy.

I'm sure Trump will be happy to know you're wishing him nice nighty nights even though you're angry with him. Not sure he'll be crazy about you calling him a scumbag though. Might want to leave the country before Newt gets that whole Unamerican activities committee going. ;)
"cstu likes this"

Again, he posted less than a month ago his wife just sold a $1.6m home.  Assuming 3% commission, that's $48,000.  $48,000 > $2,100.

guarantee his wife is the one who runs the finances.  He can't cut a check without her approval.  She's not gonna bail out her degenerate husband on this one.

Missed this but Still he's bringing home 19k a year. So Cal is expensive and 48k isnt going  far..  If he was " braging" about the potential sale it means its far an few in between.

Honestly why would some successful realtor want to be with a guy who spends all day B.s'ing on a football forum/Twitter and not working (together apparently) at a hustle type job esp when they have a child who potentially requires alot of attention/$$$?? (obv assuming). Who no doubt from his posts is not competent financially.  Def on an allowance if really telling the truth.

Could it be he's been ugh "telling some whoppers?"

Man, my wife would divorce me if I lost $2100 on a message board.

Hell, she was pissed I bought the following two URL's for $30:

donaldtrumpsucksaspresident.com

trumpsucksaspresident.com
I was staring at trumphoma.com as available on godaddy last night.

This is my read on cstu. He's a smart guy, probably smarter than most he's hung around IRL, but not as smart as he thinks he is. Life hasn't gone how he thought it would. Not making the money nor accomplished what he thought was in the cards.

Then he has the special needs kid. He has a trollish, instigating personality that he previously enjoyed displaying publicly, but everyone IRL began telling him what a saint he is. Feeling constrained by his role IRL, he doubled down on the trolling and a-holishness online.

For this, I'm guessing he never even considered the possibility of losing. But when he did lose, considering his real life financial situation and dependence on his wife, there was just no way shipping 2k was going to happen. I'd actually guess he isn't watching this thread anonymously, and is just feeling embarrassment and shame.

Complete armchair psychology and maybe way, way off, but just my guess.

That is pretty good except for that smart guy part. He was of average intelligence. He could speak normally about many things then you would hit a blind spot and he would go full moron.

Disappearing though.....not to pile on the guy and I know this sucks for him, but it just looks awful. Anything is better than that. Even coming in and saying look, I'm really sorry but I don't have the money and I can't pay anyone a dime, is better than disappearing.

I think you guys ought to give until the electoral college makes it official. If there ever was a time something weird could happen there it's this one.

Yeah he needs to check in though even though making a dumb bet and losing is embarrassing.

I would make it clear that after it becomes official nothing is off limits i.e. personal info, home visits, etc.

I thought I'd seen alot in my job. Awful stuff. Things that make you want to vomit. Eagles fans. Just awful stuff.

But, seriously... pigeons?

This could be said about "everyone" on the planet, esp when people get to arguing just to argue and one finds out (IE me at times esp drinking) that if you're going to argue you better damn  well know your stuff because if you don't you'll get put in your place. It happens.

Problem is.. did ctsu ever wake up the next day and acknowledge " hey brohams I was talking out my ace"

I personally had a few PM convos  months ago with the dude & he was always nice.
