Luis Ortiz (see avatar) +185.
Kind of like with the Parker fight, these two dudes are in the beauty pageant to land an Anthony Joshua fight, which means a sold-out soccer stadium, several millions of dollars, and probably getting knocked on your ### in front of drunk, screaming limeys.
Deontay Wilder, his opponent, has been incredibly well-protected/guided. He appears to be able to hit hard, but he has #### fundamentals, minimal defensive ability, and what appears to be a weak chin. He's also definitely had at least one opponent just straight up dive for him, probably more. Which is why this fight is confusing, because Ortiz is the goods, could legit threaten to take his belt away, and then end up in line for Joshua.
Ortiz is no Adonis, and his gas tank might be a question, but he can hit hard and he has very good hands for a heavyweight. It's hard to see him trading with Wilder and not getting the best of nearly every exchange. He's either been sandbagging a bit the last couple fights, has been utterly disinterested in crap opposition, or his age (unknown!) is catching up with him.
This doesn't make much sense, unless Wilder's people are just wildly under-estimating Ortiz. He's a lot of risk and relatively minimal reward, which is a big step-up for a guy who's up to almost 40 pro fights and has beaten almost exclusively bums. So, something might be up here, but at this price there's no way you can't take a swing. If this was completely on the up-and-up, it's better value than Mayweather was.
