I assume they are making an arbitrary decision on what to do with Yuki and Liam:

THE F1 FANTASY GAME IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

The game is currently undergoing maintenance. The game will reopen shortly. Thank you for your patience.
"Action required
Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson have changed race teams. If you currently have either driver in your team you will need to use your transfer allowance to avoid "inactive driver" penalties."

This sucks. Let me game the system!
So I had Yuki in my lineup with a value of $8.4m. I don't get to keep him for that value now? He now has a value of $16.8 and I need to change my lineup??
That seems like crap.

I like Jacques Villeneuve on commentary. He has interesting insights and can be amusingly snarky about them, kind of like Nico Rosberg when he's in the booth.

Brundle is a legend but he's predictable, partly because I've listened to him so much but also because he plays it safe. Chandok and Ant Davidson are good but they don't have the driving resumes of the others.

Who's doing the F1TV call?

Great lap for Verstappen, but I suspect he will be fighting for a podium spot behind the two McLarens tomorrow. I don’t think he will have the race pace to stay out front.

But, rain!
I thought the latest was rain overnight, but dry for the race? But I have not looked closely.
Haven't checked this moring other than the F1 app headline.

If it's dry, McLaren only have one set of new mediums. That could make tire stagey really important.

who can point me to the track? I'm stuck in meetings trying not to die from boredom

Right in the path, but reddit says it should be done raining by lights out.

So much for the grass fires

At least two red flags avoided now :pickle:

Crofty and Villeneuve have about the worst chemistry of a racing broadcast pair in quite some time and that is in a universe where Danica has been in the booth with people.

I'm going to start a petition to ban drivers in interviews and teams on the radio from using the word "mega" to describe drives, races, etc. It was probably cute the first time but is now entering "dumpster fire" territory.

Bahrain race weekend starts early tomorrow with lots of rookies taking their turn in FP1. Pirelli is bringing their hardest combo but it's an old and abrasive surface so there's some hope of a two stopper. It's my favorite track of the four Middle Eastern one although there's not much atmosphere. I wish they'd take another shot at the shortened layout they ran in the pandemic year.

Race time is pretty convenient for the entire continental USA.
