***Official Game Thread*** - Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints (2 Viewers)

It was called because he lifted him and drove him into the ground. Good call, IMO.
It's called a tackle. He didn't try to hurt him, hit him low, he threw and was tackled at the same time.

Maybe they should put flags on Favre.
Funny you mention hitting him lowBrady gets 15 out of that hit
:goodposting: Easily should've been a penalty. If it was Manning or Brady getting hit the flag is thrown 10 out of 10 times. If I'm Jared Allen I make sure Brees doesn't finish the game here.
Watching that play again I think the Zebra's didn't see the low hit, which is why it didn't get the flag. If only Favre were Brady and had the Ref give me flag button.

Lost in all this Favre talk is the fact Saints cannot convert a 3rd down. Stuffed on 2 3rd and shorts, now they go to pass and Bush has a drop and Brees misses wide open WR. Saints really keeping Vike sin this.

Favre certainly is a tough guy. Plays with a ton of heart. This is the best of Favre rather than the media seeking garbage we see outside of the game. Glad he's coming back in. I can't imagine hime coming back next season win or lose tonight.
Farve loves this, believe me. The guy is a warrior but this is who he is, this game will make him want to come back even more next year, are you kidding me.

Lost in all of this Favre talk is that Drew Brees has not played that well; he has missed several open receivers. Favre has outplayed him by a mile, despite having the crap knocked out of him. Hope Favre makes it back out there.
Don't disagree. Saints aren't cashing in on enough opport....[saints recover fumble]

Geez, these fumbles are unreal. And the Saints almost didn't recover that one either. Amazingly, Favre almost managed to get to that ball!

I don't know. Did you see his wife's reaction? At some point she's going to win that battle.
