Driver - 7 for 136 and a TD

Jennings - Another three measly catches, highlighted by run blocking at the GL instead of running a hot route for an easy six.

It's obvious why Rodgers and the Packers make Driver the focal point of the offense.

Don't say you were not warned.

The focal point?I guess you missed the deep ball where Rodgers was picked off that was headed for Jennings (btw...Driver was wide open on that one).Or the deep ball off of Jennings fingertips late in the game (a bit of PI on that one...makeup non call for the Chillar mugging of Scaife earlier.Though, this post of yours was predictable...Driver had a great game.

My 5 year old son has better shtick than this lame crap.

There were like 3 deep balls for Jennings that he could have gotten. Finnegan had him covered pretty well.
This was the problem..... Finnegan is starting to turn into that good kind of shut down corner that teams throw away from. Finnegan was challenged in this game but other than a curl route that went for way longer than it should have Finnegan covered Jennings really well. He also shut down R. Wayne the week before.

I think he had a TD called back...and Rodgers was on his back most of the day.

Yup...same as it ever was...HK is still not watching what is going on.

I am a fan of Jennings, but only 9 catches the last 3 games is worrisome, and his lack of TD is starting to get a bit concerning. He has only scored in 3 of their 9 games this year. I understand if the o-line is struggling, but you would think a WR as good as Jennings would be able to catch more than 3 passes a week.

Ya, it sucks, but these things happen to even the best. Look at Andre Johnson's first 5 games or so. Don't worry about it.

Yeah, I think he will be fine, but this stretch is a tough one, and there is a bit of frustration on my part, too, as one of the teams I have him on is struggling right now (Westbrook's night last night didn't help, either), so I will admit to that.

Why?He only averaged 3.5 receptions per game with a far better QB last season.

In all 29 games he played in 2006 & 2007 he had 3 or fewer receptions in 14 of them.

His recent production should surprise no one.

it is a tough stretch indeed. But you can't argue with these numbers 8 games in:2nd in total receiving yards4th in receiving yards per game12th it receiving touchdowns

Awaiting the spin this week.
17 points needs spinning?
The spin from HK...telling us how Driver was better or targeted more or whatever. When Driver outproduces him...nothing else matters. When Jennings is on top (which is what happens most of the time), HK finds something to spin.

Ah, i get youThough Jennings did nice, i am waiting for that explosion game he was doing early on.Though 17 points i will take every week

Driver has outscored or tied Jennings in only 6 of the last 23 games they both played. 3 of those in 2008, 3 of those in 2007.

That's for standard 1pt/10yds, 6pt/td scoring. Not sure about PPR.

Donald Lee leads Packers in receptions this week.

Par for the course considering Jennings has not been the solitary team leader in that category since Week 4.

Same as it ever was.

He had 1 more reception that Jennings.Jennings had 30 more yards and obviously, more points scored in fantasy ball. But I knew the spin would be there. And Lee even dropped a beautifully thrown TD pass.Yup, same as it ever was, Jennings continues to be the GB WR to have and you continue to spin it while enjoying the points that Jennings is giving you.

What WR ever leads their team in receptions every single week? please name me one? Name me one. NAME ONE> NAME ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, when Pierre got that 30 yard garbage TD my opponent came from like 30 back to take a one point lead on me, and i thought Jennings would be benched to avoid injury in a blowout game.

I loved it that the first play was a 22 yard zip to Jennings to get me back the lead and then Mike Bell came in to secure the win

YPCs from this weekend

Driver 16.6

Nelson 14

Jennings 11.3

So much for the "big playmaker" argument stated earlier in the thread.

Led in receptions, yards, scored a TD and a 2 point conversion.I will say, it used to be entertaining to see you spin things...but this one was predictable as soon as I saw the ypc for this game I knew it would be your ridiculous angle.Though, to you, Im not a real Packer fan anyway.

Season stats.

Jennings 64 receptions, 1057 yards, 7 TDs, 88.1 yards per game, 16.5 per catch, 62 yard long reception, 5.3 yards after the catch, 45 for first downs

Driver 54 receptions, 698 yards, 4 TDs, 58.2 yards per game, 12.9 per catch, 50 yard long reception, 4 yards after the catch, 32 for first downs

Jennings beats him across the board. So spin that.

Oh wait...Jennings did fumble once and Driver has not...so there you go (though, GB recovered the fumble)

i wasnt even going to bump this thread anymore. I really cant believe how good he has become. He has exceeded even my expectations, and mine were awfully high. His stats as they stand now through Week 13 are what I expected on the year. I can't believe he has 4 more weeks to improve what has already been a fantastic season. Oh by the way, he averages 16.5 YPC on the season. Driver is 12.9 and Nelson is 11.4. Just sayin....

Are you for real or just trying to jerk some chains?Jennings has 40% more yards than Driver, 75% more TDs, 10 more receptions, and averages 3.5 more ypc. 4th in NFL in yards, tied for 7th in TD receptions. 9th in NFL in receptions for 1st downs. Jennings has 6 plays of 40+ yards compared to 4 for Driver. 20+ yards? 18-10 in favor of Jennings.

:lmao: Can't believe folks are trying to say Donald Driver has been better than Jennings..you can't dispute those numbers...

You are all just dancing for H.K.'s amusement.

If one tells a big enough lie and everyone ignores it the originator will just go away instead of being believed.

The guy owns Jennings. He thinks this weekly rant is somehow motivating Jennings for the following week. Talk about superstitious.

Ahhhh....I'm slow on the uptake if this is the case.

And if this is the case and it works like it has to date......Jennings is Driver's redheaded stepchild.

Welp, it's 2009, hope everyone stayed on the bandwagon, I really like this kid :)

HK, not to be a jerk, but are you still down on him?
