I've bought over 50 30+ mags since this nonsense started, and I'm guessing over 3 million mags have been purchased by others. Lol and they won't even be banned is my guess. Obama has been the best thing for the gun industry since sliced bread. LOL!

You're all set for home invasion, and defending yourself against the tyrannical government as well. Sad, pathetic, and laughable.

And yet, his ownership of said property impacts your rights in absolutely no way whatsoever.William Bayes on the essence of libertarianism:

Where do my rights end? Where yours begin. I may do anything I wish with my own life, liberty and property without your consent; but I may do nothing with your life, liberty an property without your consent....

Your authoritarian position is weak, oppressive, and cowardly.

Yeah, it's extreme views like this that caused me to quit the Libertarian party. I joined it over 20 years ago, and was very much involved; coming out of college, I was imbued with the ideas of Ayn Rand, Ludwig Von Mises, Hayek, and other writers. In many ways I still am. But around 10 years ago I was forced to quit because views such as yours became prevalent. I had become a Libertarian because I believed in essential issues of individual freedom, and because I typically agreed with progressives on most social issues and with conservatives on most economic issues. I did not become a Libertarian to argue about guns, or motorcycle helmets, or how tyrannical the federal government was becoming, or how evil the United Nations is. When the crazies started to dominate the party, I got out. There is a line between libertarianism, as our founding fathers understood it, and anarchy.
When you join a civilized society, you are forced to sacrifice some of your individual freedoms in exchange for your security in that society. Thus, there are laws that you cannot cross the street against a red light. There are laws that you cannot drive at 50 mph in a residential neighborhood. And, in this case, there may be the necessity for laws making certain things illegal because their legality threatens public safety. None of this represents an "authoritarian position" except to extremists such as yourself.
