Paper Denim down?
This raises another problem. I just looked up these jeans on that site. Turns out they only come in waist sizes? Difficult for us tall guys. I doubt they're long enough in my waist size. :moneybag:
 what is your waist and inseam?
I generally buy 36/34, because it's the standard size that fits most closely. However, in many brands these are still too short for me. Also, I've lost about 15 pounds in the past couple months, so I'm probably back down to a 35 waist and pushing a 34. My ideal jean size would probably be 35/35, but good luck ever finding anything like that.

Picked up a couple new pairs of Guess jeans today. I still say they could be the best value in designer jeans. $79 bucks a pop, great fit, great wash.

In contrast, I saw some True Religion jeans at the store this weekend, and I'm fairly certain that even the guys versions are girls jeans. Lord are they gay. Those pockets are everything but BeDazzled.
You tight with yer cash? Guess is not designer and True Religion only look good on broads. Why start a 4 page thread and avoid the meat of it?
For the record, I started the thread at someone else's request. That said, the thread definitely piqued my interest. I gave those True Religion's a look. God they were awful. And $250 a pop? Jesus.

I also gave Diesel a look. The store I looked at didn't have any washes that looked cool.

So, I ultimately went with what I know works -- never a bad decision. However, I can still be convinced to spend upwards of $150 on a pair of jeans if they're really, really worth it. I haven't found the really, really worth it ones yet.
Give one of these a try. Some of them feel like pajamas.Go easy...
Those look pretty decent. Hmm...
These also list only waist size. :moneybag: They're aces bro. AG created Diesel Jeans back in the late 70's. Dude bought him out. Go to Nordstroms young man.
Hems from the Korean down the street down? These taylors work miracles these days...they keep the original bottoms.
But if they aren't long enough, isn't there really nothing they can do?

Ever pair I own right now is either Express or Nautica. The Nautica is more comfortable, but the Express jeans are more in style and the ex said they look way hotter. Went with the darker blue with some of the faded coloring to it so it looks more stylish and dressy.
:moneybag:

:goodposting: I wear 29-30 waist and 30 length. Many of the jeans I buy are 32 length. I usually go to a tailor or if I am at Nordstroms I use their service for them to hem the jeans. Nordstroms is :wall: You pay a little extra but they do a really nice job.

Make sure where ever you go that the place's idea of hemming jeans is not to tuck the excess length of the jeans under and sew it that way. I had that happen with my $150 guess jeans and I was :hot:

Trouble is you guys are talking about taking in jeans that are too long. I have long legs and my jeans are regularly too short. I don't think there is anything they can do about that. For example, that website says the Paper Denim jeans have a 33 1/2 inch inseam. I wear store bought 34 length jeans, and only some of those are long enough (and some just barely). I'd hate to drop $200 and look like I'm prepping for the big flood.

Looks like a picture of a chick's ### to me. I still don't understand the relationship with the $200 jeans. Would her ### be less hot in a $50 pair? I don't think I'm qualified to post in this thread. Carry on.

I guess you have to read all 7 pages. Sorry  . But the ### does look better in 200.00 jeans.

Hi ccf,I just don't agree. If she's hot, she'll be as hot in th $50 jeans that fit as she is in the $200 pair.

Fit doesn't cost extra.

Pretty smart posting here.

Well, I read the first couple pages of this thread and it was quite refreshing to see that there are actually men who care about fashion.

Anyway, this thread inspired me to go out to the mall and get a killerass pair of jeans. I got a pair of X2 M22 Regular somethingsomething Boot Cut pants from Express, with a dark blue wash, $59.95. Boy howdy are they awesome.

:blackdot: If I recall, you posted a pic of your wife in a little bumble bee outfit once upon a time...very very hotIf you do post a pic of her jeans, I'm sure it will have been well worth the wait.

I found this site for helping you know how different brands might fit on you. They've only got a couple of the brands we've talked about in this thread, but they have a bunch of others. All you need is your measurements and then it spits out recos based on how the different brands/styles will fit

Also, what's the most you'll spend on jeans? I think it's pretty gay to spend $100 or $200 on jeans. Girls can do this and it's ok. Men should not do this.I'll probably spend up to 80 bucks for the right pair of jeans. And there's no way I'm spending less than 40 bucks. If you buy jeans at the likes of the Gap or Old Navy, you're in fashion hell. Prognosis: style-less. I'm sorry for your loss.
Hey, stop determining what is and isn't gay with YOUR wallet size. It's happening in your shirt thread, too.

Searched high and low ...no direct butt-shots in a pair of jeans.but I did find this rear-shot from a wedding a few weeks ago.

...o and a shot of me in my custom taylored TR's. :topcat:

Can I get a cliffs notes of this thread. Need a new pair, and haven't gone "designer jeans" before; but am willing to try. Any of these go well with crocs?

These are nice, just ordered a pair. Not gay looking at all and have a somewhat relaxed fit.

Non Gay looking Diesel jeans
These are the exact jeans I'm wearing today. Walked into a Diesel store the other day. I think they stock those places better than most strip clubs. And they all feign interest almost as well too. Only problem is I spend more than at a strip club
these are the only Diesels I have.
Wow, same pair. Question -- do they run pretty baggy? All these designer jeans seem to be super tight through the thighs. Otis doesn't roll that way.

Yes, they're more on the baggy side. None of the tapered in the legs stuff.

Cool $40 Jeans

For good looking jeans that don't cost $200, American Eagle is a goldmine.

LINK TO MENS JEANS >

Very cool looking. Great Fit. Around $40 a pair. They also hold up VERY well to heavy wear. I've got some with 75-100 wears on them and still holding up very well.

I've been complimented more on these jeans than any others I own (Seven, CK, Lucky, Levis, Razzy)

I finally broke down and did it, more out of need than anything else.

I was heading out after work last night and forgot to bring clothes, so I hit up the Saks across the street and picked up a pair of Seven jeans. These ran me about 2 bills. Never thought I'd pay that for a pair of jeans...

I've gotta say, these things are awesome. Awesome fit, and the denim is so nice and comfortable. It's that soft denim that just kind of falls and hangs, as opposed to the "hard" and thin denim you get in cheap jeans (like the Gap or Old Navy) which just kind of bunches up all over the place. This stuff is thick and feels great.

Anyway, so far I'm a big fan. We'll see what happens with time. At this point, though, I can absolutely see myself hitting up another pair of Sevens, even at this price.
