that tiffany chick always seemed like she was drunkand she cooked like she looked
She had made it clear several times that she just didn't care all that much. I think she really thought she would just skate through to the end and win. Delusional.

i think its gona come down to christine and the guy who won the blind taste test challenge 4 out of 4

Really only 4 left that have any chance of winning this.Dana, Christina, Justin and Brian...
Brian is too flighty. He'll hang in because he and Justin are thick as thieves but I can't see him winning it.
True.. but if he gets to the final 3, all it takes is Justin messing up that one week to make it to the finale.. Justin came off as a pompous a## last night with the "I'm not here to baby sit" comment.. True that is not your job, but a leader of a kitchen steps up to make the team better, not step back and let someone fail.I don't blame him completely as Robin is not someone I'd ever want to have working next to me and if he did help her she would have taken all the credit.. But Ramsey "see's things" and stepping up as a leader there would have, IMO, been a good thing to do.

Good points. I think his frustration came from her being kitchen illiterate and then trying to blame him for her shortcomings. It really wasn't his job to check her food after all.

When are these filmed? Does Ramsey shoot both this show and Masterchef at the same time? I'd get the names confused. I already do just watching.

Not me but the diners seemed to like it and apparently so did Ramsey. Also it seemed everyone but her knew how to tell if they were cooked properly or not.

he seems to know what looks good on a plate and what ramsey is looking for.. thats one reason why i have him going to the finals

Final is gonna be Dana vs. Justin
I could see that. Justin is starting to show up and Dana has been pretty good the whole season.
I can't predict the final two, but the final 3 will include Christina (along with Dana & Justin).
Agree with this. I could see Clemenza sneaking into the final three if he picks up steam but I think Christina is the strongest, then Justin and Dana. Dana is pretty funny too, has some solid one liners. "If Tiffany can eat chicken wings like she drinks beer, we're gonna be alright." Or something to that effect. :lmao:

I'm constantly cracking up at Dana. No matter what the topic, she's always "excited" in her interviews, whether she's slamming someone for poor service or reacting to Ramsey's shocking challenges, or whatever. It's kinda refreshing with all the other tools.

I agree with the whole Christine Dana thing but Barbie has been really really solid for about the past 7 shows
She's a lazy primadonna. Doesn't mean she can't go farther.
Barbie could squeak out a higher performance than she deserves, because she seems to bring it at the right time. But, her outside the watch of Ramsey behavior leads me to believe she can't make the final 3. I vaguely remember someone in a recent season pulling the same crap, shining during service, but being a craptacular team member during prep. I seem to remember that it all finally catches up to them - I wish because Ramsey finally calls them out for being a ####ty team mate, but if memory serves, it catches them in other ways.I think Brian and Barbie are in the final 5. Clemenza, Robin and Kimi are the next to go, not necessarily in that order.

I remember the red-headed bulldog-looking guy from a season or two ago. He would work hard and take charge whenever Gordon was in the room, but then slack off, keep quiet, and sabotage his teammates whenever Gordon left. IIRC, he never got called on it and made it to the final 2. Ramsey never brought it up.

Wow, I'm surprised Kimmie was sent packing, I thought for sure it was gonna be Robyn.

That said, I'm glad to see her go. Her constant crying and whining got old a long time ago.

No surprise.. it was "her week" and she failed miserably... If you can't lead a kitchen, and cook fish on "your week" no way can you be the lead cook at his restaurant. :bye: BTW.. after this week :bag: for thinking Brian had a shot.. Not that it is worth :2cents: after the Brian fiasco, but....I'd say final four will be Dana, Justin, Barbie and Christina.Joining the bandwagon of Dana and Justin in the finale.

Yeah she crumbled under the pressure pretty quickly. I'm not sure on Barbie. Not many cooks left now and I think she'll get exposed a bit. She's kind of slow and lazy. Still all she has to do is outlast 3 folks that have no real shot so anything is possible.

I just figured someone up for elimination for the first time against someone who has been up many times (and isnt as good of a cook) wouldnt be sent home. Like I said, Im glad to see her go, but I dont think she should have been sent home before Robyn (although neither ever had a shot at winning anyway, so the order in which theyre sent home doesnt matter much). This is Justin's to lose.

...I will say Barbie really showed up. The guys better get their act together.
Barbie has been dominating services for quite a while now. And most of the other stuff about her was based on prejudice and not actually what she was doing. However, she lacks the ability to command attention in the kitchen (for whatever reasons - fair or not) and unless that comes as the numbers dwindle her cooking won't matter. (Because it is not a cooking show.)The same lack of command is true for Justin. If he wants a chance to win this he has to quit hiding in the corner and having that constant "who me" look on his face.

She has done well in service. But she has earned more than a bit of the venom she got. Her attitude sucks. She is slow and lazy during prep. But she has really won already in some ways. All they wanted was her gone and she laughed at all of them going out the door. I give her credit for still being there. I don't see her running a kitchen though. Really the only one I think can actually run a kitchen is Christine. Justin just hasn't shown any leadership ability so far. Dana can cook but I don't see leadership there either.

I've been saying Barbie has been doing well for a while now. The one thing I don't understand is how you are up for elimination every show for the past 10 shows and yet you still don't get sent home (robin)??????

"It tastes like fish". Only one smart ### in this kitchen and Ramsey has that role. Robin has been getting lucky in the matchups. Of course Ramsey did say if she went up there again with her new team it was on her. I thought that meant we'd be rid of her by now.

She's the best "reality show" personality on the show. Gives the most outrageous solo interviews and most drama. That's it. She can't cook, she doesn't even season her food for cryin out loud.

You have a point but Brian was a character and I think he was good tv. I guess Ramsey and the crew thought Robin was better tv.

Oh god that Silvio chick is awful :lmao:
Unbelievable that she made it.
:lmao: don't sandbag me
That killed me. No one told her anything like that. I don't understand why she is still here. I will say Barbie really showed up. The guys better get their act together.
The bolded is not true. I backed it up. Justin told her to "hold" something "in the oven". But I can't tell what he said. She interpreted it to mean hold everything and started putting all the garnish in there. So, she was wrong when she said they all told her (it was Justin only) and she was wrong when she said he told her to put it all in there.

But I can't figure out what Justin actually told her to put in there.

Maybe I misheard but I thought he said the sauce needed to be held warm not the spinach. That's why I said they didn't tell her that.

I think he said "hold the sauces for me", but it wasn't perfectly clear. He definitely didn't say "garnish", though.

He said "hold the salsify."

Ah, that would make sense. Justin told her that (and it would make sense to say that) and she heard something completely different and put it all in the oven.
