I dont get it, can one of you guys explain it to me.

I was just feeling left out of the most recent spoiler/speculation discussion. :lmao:

Anyone catch the newest commercial? Couple interesting lines and visuals in there...
yeah, the one that sticks out to me is 'The Final 5 Chapters'. Like it's a 1-year show and done.
That makes no sense. NBC gets one big new hit this season and there isn't a season 2? No way - they've already announced it was getting renewed.
Each season is supposed to be its own graphic novella. Next season will stand on its own story, a totally different arc. And supposedly different characters, but I'm sure some of the ones from this season will have their parts.

Also, very early on, the mom said that the dad felt he was special before he died (can't remember how he died) to Peter. I assumed that meant that Nathan/Peter's dad had some sort of power but maybe since he was a first generation hero, he never fully evolved the power.*** SPOILER ALERT! Hmmm. Not sure whether I like that better or worse. On the one hand it will be easy to keep it fresh, say like 24 with new stories, but it may lose something if it is too new. I hope it won't be like a CSI or Law & Order type show (not saying that they are bad) where there is very little link at all. If you like CSI (Las Vegas), it really doesn't matter if you don't watch CSI NY. I like 24, but after a couple seasons it has become more or less eye candy. With Lost, you have new characters and such here and there, but the main contigent is always there and the story line has many arcs which are all just parts of the overall story. It would be cool if Heroes can mix both. What I think would be really cool for Heroes to do is to have enough old characters, work in new characters with new problems to solve, but somehow weave everyone back together for the last season to end it all. Even that might not work as this is more like a Spiderman or Superman, etc. where you have good guys battling evil ones without a real end game. For example with Lost once they figure out all the secrets and get off the island, the show is done, period. In Heroes, even if they figure out all the secrets, the story isn't over they can still go on forever with new evil threats to thwart.

I suspect the next season will pick up what is going on with the heroes in the future, like 5 years later or something like that.

Except for Hiro. I suspect that he will be in fuedal Japan. I think the guy who's sword he got, is really him.

 I agree 100% on the sword and the legend his dad told him. When he mentioned his dad's story and his quest for the sword, I immediately thought that it was Hiro who went back to the past. The only funkiness to it is that he already has the sword, so if he travels back in the past, he already has it. So where did the sword actually come from? Not sure that if we are correct we will actually get a good answer on that ardil-22.

Thanks. I was just assuming based on the other quotes since I hadn't read it.

WOOOHOOO!! Cant wait for tonight. Its funny how the Lost crowd and the Heroes Crowd overlap. :) ;)
Probably a similar group to the Everwars folks and those geocaching. In football's offseason, a lot of nerdiness bubbles to the surface.
You can say that again. :)
I would hope we overlap. Definitely the two best shows out there. If I didn't have kids I would probably get sucked into a lot more timewasters. As it stands now, I pretty much lose a lot of sleep catching up on recorded shows. I am one of the folks that is actually glad Lost is on at 10pm because I know I won't have any interruptions.

I love Heros, I've never watched an episode of Lost. ;)

Same here. I guess I was never around when Lost started. I missed the first month of Heroes, but a buddy of mine told me to start watching, so I caught up watching the episodes online. Never miss it now.
